Those damn shared-turn lanes are the worst. Someone ALWAYS gets into it a block or two before their turn without a damn care in the world that others may be using it to turn before they need to. The turn to get on my street was recently changed to one of these and I have to use it every day now and I can see it's just an accident-waiting-to-happen zone. I HATE IT! The city planners here are idiots.

 

Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is I won't have to work nites. The bad news is they are shutting down the nite project for about a month so I will be out of work starting friday.

 

Ouch, sorry dude. That sucks.

I don't get much of anywhere anymore, RSD, RX-8 or no RX-8. I have some friends there I visit when I can (I just got a call from them tonight) but I only drive up once every year or two...or three. Otherwise I might join the group. Besides, haven't you heard Groucho Marx's sentiment (or paraphase thereof) "I wouldn't want to be a member of any group that would have somebody like me for a member"?

 

A little off topic, but I wanted to vent... I dropped $600 on my jeep tonight after a very strange Saturday night/Sunday morning... Kinda slows any plans I had for the roxy!
