Im Staying!!

I have decided to keep my car and pay it off. I will be modding the hell out of it here shortly because I miss how it use to look with the drop and body kit. Its totally stock now besides the Mazsport Ignition Solution.

So I have a little list of mods that I want and will prolly do.

1. Agency Power Exhaust or the new Greddy Exhaust SE
2. MS Side skirts and rear
3. Coilovers
4. Progress Sway bars with Agency Power endlinks
5. 19inch rims and tires
6. MS front bumper or the ATH front bumper with LED foglights
7. New trunk lid without the spoiler
8. Short shifter
9. Navigation
10. Touching up the paint. Fixing the rock chips and the scratches and also repairing the major scratch on the passenger side rear fender.
11. COBB Accessport with MM maps

Whatcha think about all that goodness?? Anyother ideas you guys may have??

I am happy and feel bad at the same time. I am glad you are still with us. I feel bad because of all the work you did to remove and sell your parts.

I am, however, enjoying your coilovers.

Christmas Goodies and Future plans.

Since Jeff has announced some plans. I will too.

I just installed some upper strut tower braces and I am working on the stereo and Dynamat install. (With new Dynamat product) Here are some pictures.

I also came across a deal that i could not pass up. I was not planning it, but I have a MS replica kit in my possession as well. I may only use the front bumper but I am not sure just yet. (Sorry these pictures are from my crappy cell phone.)

Let me know what you think.

Obviously it is good for at least 5hp!

Seriously, beyond looks, the front bar is significantly stiffer. However, I did not really feel much of a difference in the front. The rear seemed to be more stable (Less lift) that I am still experiencing. I can't wait to get some sway bars and end links. That will make my suspension complete. Although that under car brace looks interesting.

Regarding the stereo, I have Genesis subwoofers in the rear and am planning to use Arc Audio amplifiers. They are the Mini series. For the front speakers, I am planning to use DLS audio.

I am still trying to figure out what to do about the source unit. Part of me wants to replace the factory unit. But it will be alot of work. I have a Sony C90 and 4000X (Digital crossover with time alignment) But I might go simpler and just use the factory head unit. I am planning to integrate video into the factory Nav as well. I think I might bury a iPod video for that purpose. I have one that I am not currently using.

What is everyone else doing for the stereo?

You guess correctly. However, you could modify the cover to fit. I just took mine out.

I got it from Fluid Motorsports here on the forum. He had a hell of a deal that I couldnt pass up. I will definitley keep buying from him to continue to mod my car.

Paul,

Are you going to install the whole MS kit? I was thinking of buying the whole kit minus the wing. I want to trade with someone who doesnt have a wing on their trunk for mine. I think it will look sleek as hell too.

Anyone have any suggestions on a cheap summer performance tire? I was thinking the Kumo ecstas. (sp)

I did not get the rear wing with the kit. I am not sure how much of the kit I will use. I will definitely use the front bumper, probably the side skirts. However, I don't currently plan to use the rear section. I have something planned with my exhaust that would not work with the rear piece.

I had the Kuhmos on my factory wheels. Nice tires. Not too noisy.

I am not sure what I am going to do about the trunk lid. I was thinking about swapping it for a carbon fiber one with a small carbon fiber lip.

On another note. I purchased the strut braces from Fluid Motorsports. They shipped very quickly.

My exhaust isnt suppose to ship out to me until the 9th! Damn!! I am getting very anxious!

Anyone know of a website or place as to where I can purchase the front side and rear MS kit for a decent price? I am talking about the authentic kit.

I just picked up some ecstas xl platinums. For $185 a piece, not bad. Not as good as my dunlop run-flats but they'll do.

Anyone want to have a "de-carbon day" meet once the weather warms up a little? I can bring the beer and someone can bring the food.

Also, I am going to take off my strakes. Has anyone done this? I know there is tape on the strake to keep it sturdy on the car, so does the tape leave any type of gue on the cars paint? If so, how do you get it off with out taking the paint off?
