hey guys long time! im selling some parts for an 06' if anyones interested, i have a full stock exhaust, (cat, intermit, muffler) stock springs front and rear, stock air box, and a bunch of stock light bulbs for interior and ex. let me know if anyones interested!

After almost 10 years for service, it's time to part ways with my 2005 RX-8. Besides, its replacement (2009 R3) is already in my garage. I'm the original owner. It has almost 147,000 miles. Car is 6MT, titanium gray with sport package and rear spoiler. Switched to BHR ignition kit about 3 years ago (will stay with car). Spark plugs have been changed within the last 6 months. Coolant overflow bottle and radiator (Mishimoto all aluminum) replaced within the last couple of years. Will post picks this weekend. Cat has been gutted but have a used replacement I can put on in its place if desired. Asking $4250 or best offer as it sits or $4500 with replacement cat installed.

 

What's up Eric? Not much going on. I miss the RX8 daily driving fun. I miss having a manual transmission and handling the most. I am looking at maybe getting a 135i, 328i, G37S, or something like that. Has to be a six speed RWD and handle. The Cadillac just isn't cutting it for fun. Tacti, Chief, Steve, and Kevin, what is everyone up to?

 

Hey James, I'm still around. Been home for about a month now. Saw Kevin and Steve at Fuel Saturday before last, they are doing well. Haven't seen Tact for a while but then I haven't been to an autocross this year. We still have the wife's 8. You should bring that Mopar beast to Fuel some Saturday and catch up.

 

Hey Mike, I would like to some day. I have had issues with the valve covers leaking I need to fix that and get back on the road.

 

I just picked up a 2010 GT in Virginia and brought it back to the SW Ohio area. Looking forward to events in the Greater Cincinnati area.

 

What rotary specialists - both independent and dealer - would this Cincinnati area group recommend for my RX-8 for maintenance, repair, modifications, engine rebuilding, and the like?

In addition to the parts listed in my for sale thread, I have a series 1 exhaust that has been modified to fit a series 2 (was installed on my R3 when I got it). Its internals have also been modified, but that most likely only resulted in some increased volume. That's free to anyone who wants to pick it up. I'll probably hang on to it for another month or so, but after that it's going to Rumpke.

I'm located in the Delhi area if anyone is interested.

I got Miata a while back, and I'm so hooked... getting another Miata soon, and need to make some room.

My RX-8 has been put back to stock this weekend, and waiting to be washed up for her last photo shoot for the FS post... kinda sad...
If anyone's looking for some aftermarket parts or my RX-8, or know of someone who does, please hit me up.

I do when I'm home, but normally in my Miata.

Place on Riverside Dr. They're on Facebook under Fuel Coffee. Saturday mornings from 0800-1200 it's the place to be if you love cars. Wintertime you will usually only see the regulars, but in the summer months you will see all sorts of two and four wheeled exotica.

 

haven't been to Fuel for a while now... life been too busy on sat. morning... once it snows, i'll show up in miata with top down, to show subaru's who has *****.. lol

 

I just bought an 04 automatic with 87k love it so far have been doing the research on them to fix a hot start problems I don't think it's carbon build up cause I can clear my ecu and it will start in thinks it's the first o2 sensor not mixing fule and air right

 

Im looking for the oem battery box for an 04 I'm put a ultra high CCA battery in and am gonna have to rig my cables so I'd like it to be able to keep cables protected

Tacti, looking at SII's for the wife... so I may be wrenching on an RX8 again lol. So I may want some of this in the future if we buy a series II. Also looking at Solstice GXP and Sky Redline's.
