Hey guys and gals, I havent talked to anyone in awhile so I thought I would see how everyone is doing. I see Jeff and Steve are tryin to sell the cars..haha, I just did some number crunching and I may be trading in the 8 and buying a new Evo X. But I am not sure I just love my car. I also just bought a ton of new goodies, early Christmas presents..: ) And I also see a get together with coffee involved haha I may have to bring the lady friend as well....oh yea and Paul the car looks REAL NICE, I love the drop...

I hate snow too! Steve, what is the name of that body / paint guy that did your side skirts? I want him to touch up my hood and those two deep scratches that I have on my passenger side rear quarter panel.

 

I see theres plans for coffee meet in the works and everybody talking about bringing their SO's. I want to go but I also dont want to be a wheel.

 

I think i will be going solo... maybe i'll ask the other girlfriend.....

 

...so what time is the meeting, just so were all on the same page.

Would anyone who has changed their plugs before get with me to do mine? I can do the work i just want to know any short cuts associated with this task...also where to buy the best plugs from?

 

Here is a some pictures when I changed my plugs. Basically, the easiest way is to go through the front driver wheel well. It takes a couple of extensions but it is almost a straight shot.

I bought my 2004 TG 8 in May, I was in the Air Force and just moved back to the states from England. Currently I have the K&N intake, SP2 catback, AFE SS, BHR clutch Pedal. I will hopefully get my Yukon coils any day now......

 

Very nice. I have the short sifter too but my cup broke and havent gotten around to sending it off to get it fixed. I took it out about a month or two ago and am now just getting used to the stock shifter again.

Youve been here since may? Where have you been we had two meets since then.

Whats the plan for tomorrow fellas? Just coffee?

 

I live outside of Nashville at the moment. I move up on Monday to start school this year at UC and get my first real winter ( I am from New Orleans.)

hey club! i have an 07 rx8. i was driving last night and upon getting home i smelled what i thought was burnt rubber coming from the rear end. i get out and check and nothing is hot. not the wheel, the rotor, caliper, nothing. i am seriously confused about what is causing the smell. has anyone encountered a problem of this magnitude before? need help and ideas! thanks!

sounds like plastic got attached to your exhaust.... if thats the case... get used to the smell because it will be there for a while however it eventually will go away!
