I always have projects, lol, would be interested in stopping by on any of those dates and bringing supplies as needed :-) I think my passenger door window is slipping off the track now and then so I need to tear that door apart and check it out and have some courtesy lights to install - lol, could always put in new plugs too....my list is long :-/

I was there from 11:00 ish to almost around 8:00, but have left there for an hour or so in middle looking around other booths.

Anyone here from our neck of the woods planning on going to the Deals Gap Rotary Rally near Bryson City, NC April 19 - 21st? :-) It's a great time to meet other 8 owners and see some sweet rotary powered vehicles and drive some legendary roads.

I just received the rotors and pads for my car yesterday. Probably work on installing them tomorrow.

Started the brakes/rotors today. Was able to enlist my wife to help paint the calipers. Cell phone pics...

Those phillips head screws in the front rotors were a huge PITA. Luckily I found an impact screwdriver.

I was just planning on being home for St Patty's day. And depending on if I take the 18th off... I'm not sure if I'll be too hungover

So either 16th/17th for me.

 

If you need to borrow the impact screwdriver, let me know. I'd just hit it with some penetrating oil and let it sit for a bit. I might be able to stop by and be a warm body to do some grunt work on either of those weekends. 16th/17th might be better as my wife will not be in town, but I'm good either way.

Here's the final product. Pretty happy with it. The G2 Caliper paint worked pretty well. Still need to get the wheels redone by the wheel doctor, and eventually get some new tires. Leaning towards the Hankook V12's and probably go 245/35 for the size.

Should have the exhaust in a few weeks, then it looks like I'm done until we do some things around the house.

 

definatly not, that honda belongs to one of the guys that works at that mexican place. i work at that Quicklane and my car is park where you cant really see it from the road. thats what sucks about working here, my fat *** has to sit and stare at steknshake all day and it makes me hungry lol

Other options to get the set screws out are using and punch/chisel and a hammer to spin them out or just simply drilling them. I used both methods on my 8. I didn't bother replacing them as they do nothing but hold the rotor against the hub when the wheel is off.
