At the prices for the RR exhausts, i'd be worried about longevity. Shitty packing is cheap and burns up pretty quickly with our exhaust temps. I personally wouldn't buy one for that reason, that an I don't necessarily like the way brice has done business in the past.
Do we know anyone with the 1-tip RR catback?... I assume these will hold up as well as those have. Be interested to hear feedback on them too.
One of the better examples of a RR cutback. Sounds pretty good, but Kevin's right. How good is the quality. Where are they importing them from?

I'm planning on doing so car shopping/pricing/dreaming saturday as well.
and robbie (Robo) just got his RR single sided i believe. Check in with him and see what he thinks.

Jason has a thing for cars with boxer engines, doesn't he? I just want to know which of you is gonna be the tool bitch...
C'mon people, if you show up you might get to hear the whine of awesomeness.

In worse news, I hit a damn raccoon today and tore up the front bumper. Does anyone know of any aftermarket bumpers that actually fit? I went with a duraflex on my speed protege and it was a POS. I don't want to go through that again!
Bumpers under $1000 that fit
1. Vertex Lang is $900 shipped, and it fits. Probably, the best of the bunch in terms of fitment.
2. Chargespeed would probably fit. $860+ shipping
3. Buddy Club Aero Spec $540+ shipping
4. C-West $850
5. Failside(Veilside) D1 $815 shipped
6. Bomex $635 shipped
7. Tsunami front and sides (he won't sell just the bumper) $1000
These bumpers are all Originals and are drilled, so there should be less work involved to get them to fit, theoretically.
Everything else is over $1000, mostly because of shipping from Japan. I may have left a couple out here but that is the majority of them.
P.S. People have been pretty pleased with Shine bumpers if your going for rep bumpers.

Thanks James! I hoped you would give me some input. Until I pick on out I guess I'll be driving with my head down. Defiantly taking off the wheels to draw less attention. lol. I really like the c-west and bomex bumpers. the bomex looks like the mazdaspeed bumper.

If I can give my car a quick slutbath, I'll make it down Chief. Cars dirty as hell right now.
Blue with gold wheels
I still haven't even touched that shine bumper. It's an autoexe se-02 knockoff that needs tons of work. If you can work with fiberglass, you can fix it on the cheap. You can have it if you want it, i'll probably never get the drive to work on it. lol
Sorry, I reread it and edit'd about the same time you replied. And after looking at the blue/gold pic, I don't like the bomex at all.

I've worked with fiberglass here and there, especially on the duraflex I had on the protege. I may take you up on that. Thanks!
Hey guys I would like your opinion. I am thinking in the future when my tires wear out of going with a different route. This car has an 18x10 +38 with a 275/35/18 tire which I would like to run. I love the look of it in terms of squareness and where they sit. Do you guys think this would look good with mine at +37 (5mm spacers) or better at the +42? I kind of like this better but would like to see what you guys think. Either way I am going to have to replace my studs with longer/stronger units because mine are cut. I want the performance I used to have but still want the flush look. Your thoughts.
only thing i'd concern is your rubbing issue... it's only 1 mm difference, so I don't know how worth it would be.. I like the look of wide tread, 42 and don't have to worry too much about rubbing maybe better option?
Master bath redecorating is nearly done. Just have to paint the trim/door, do some touch up of the wall color and caulk around the tub. Major PITA project (had wallpaper which was put up over unprepped walls) but the wife is very happy with it.
See you guys at Fuel, going to wash the car.
I won't make it to the fuel this morning, but chief, I'll see you tomorrow at autox, and sure I will hear your SC whining there.
if anyone interested in coming tomorrow, here's the detail.
