So.. I'm pissed..
My passenger seat rocked back in forth, so I checked out all the bolts. The back left bolt was loosened so I tried tightening it but it wouldn't... So I took it out and voila, the bolt was stripped.
So, I tried going out to go get a new bolt and the same dang thing happened...
Idk what I should do, it's more of a safety hazard more than anything but does anyone have any recommendation? I think I have the bolt size right, I got a M10 bolt with fine pitch threads. If anyone could give me suggestions it'd be great!

The seats I'll be replacing it with are MuLen's. Only set in the US atm :D (they made the concept seats for the Mazdaspeed Rx-8 concept)
And thank you all for the generous offering, but I work throughout the weekend and a friend of mine has a set so I will be doing it at his house on Wednesday.

Well unfortunately I'm screwed on my clutch pedal. My extended warranty expired in October apparently. I didn't realize the warranty was based on the original sell date, which my car was originally sold in '03.
Any have any advice on getting a clutch assembly? I'm considering just buying a reinforced assembly from the get go so I don't have to deal with it again.

I got the RR clutch bracket used from the FS section almost as soon as I got my 8.
since I was new to stick, and just got the car, I couldn't tell the difference to be honest, but it seems that the difference is pretty huge.
the other day when BBrx8 was here at my place, he jumped in and as soon as he hit the clutch, he noticed, and seems to like it a lot.

redsun: I'm sorry to hear about your warranty, I would get a reinforced one from the get go, and I would try contacting BHR personally for a clutch pedal cause they don't have it listed on their website any more, and last time I talked to Jeff (MM) through the tuning session he had no clue they didn't have it on the website any more, but if not I would get a RR reinforced one.
I got the RR bracket through ebay and now I don't have the "flex" on the pedal. but what i wanted to do was actually to get the BHR one and then put the bracket on... I know... maybe a bit overkill but I had the "first" pedal brake while I was driving on 275 and was a bit scary... and now it really improves the feel on it... hope it helps...

But as far as I had read before it was 8yrs or 100k not 10yrs. Though if you guys have documentation for it, I wouldn't be opposed to it lol.

It is only 8 years.

still worth a shot to call around. You might get one of the dealerships to take care of it for you.

^ this is what I thought too?
I used to think that it was 10 years from brief reading of the forums and what not, but as soon as I bought one, I noticed that a lot of people are either taking the "8 year extended warranty" two ways. One is that it has been added onto the original 2 year warranty and the other being the 2 year has been changed to an 8 year. If someone has documents to clear this up, could you send to sawaiy1@nku.edu? I just would like to be sure of when that warranty will expire.

Rotary Kytten,
How's the tires working out? I might opt for some winter threads. If you're around this weekend, maybe hit Fuel on Saturday? I'd be interested in seeing how they ride.
My Bridgestone A/S don't do well in rain and 50 degree weather. TC kept popping on today a lot.

Ha! Glad it wasn't just my imagination about the overactive TCS, the rain does make for exciting times. Honestly not seeing any improvement from my all-seasons in just the rain so far but if we get snow Monday morning I will be happy I suspect. I'm up for fuel if you want to take her for a spin and test them out, wish it would rain that day for you so you could really see Whatcha doing now, lol. It is a wet mess out there tonight.
It was flat out scary on Socialville Foster today. It appears the rain isn't evacuating the tread enough. The front was even washing out and I wasn't going all that fast. The Bridgestone RE050's at least like the rain better and I have +50% tread left on the Bridgestone 960's. I'm at 31 PSI all around. I may have to drop it a couple lbs. to see if that helps. I might be centerlining the tires some.

I'd be happy to give you a hand with fitment stuff bb8. Just let me know when you want to do it. Unfortunately most of december is out for me since i'll be out of the country or close to it.
I have issues with my all seasons from time to time, but it's mostly because i'm down to the wear bars in the front, and almost there in the rear. Can't wait to get super sticky summers for next spring
