Killer meet! Thanks to everyone who showed up! We passed out Mazda key fobs, some "Zoom-Zoom" pens, keychain folding pocket knives...drank horrible martinis and ate chicken wings. And had a blast!

We would have had a couple more 8's in the line-up but some of us garage our 8's in winter.

I'm kicking myself in the head (pretty agile, eh?) for not driving the 8 this week, at least a little bit. Weather has been perfect, streets dry and clear.

I couldn't stand it anymore. I took the cover off the 8 and ran two errands in it this afternoon, soaked up the sun.

Hey guys I was wondering if any local got an OEM CAT laying around that I barrow for a couple of days just to pass the emission inspection? my registration has expired since October and I haven't been able to drive my baby since I failed the emission test. I live in Ogden, UT

 

Did you buy it that way? No CAT in Utah, sounds like a yearly headache. Not worth it on a street machine, IMO.

 

well bose, looks like this weekend you will need to put the tires on... I have to drive to park city today so im glad I got mine on already.

I can shovel it faster than it can accumulate!

I warmed up my 8 today. Drove it up and down the driveway to limber up the drive-train. Started right up after not running for a week. It sure felt good to sit in that car with the engine running.

BTW, I found a cool Mazda hat you'd like. White, with black embroidered M logo and the word MAZDA in all caps. Would go well with your white hoody and white car.
