CO Dealer Recommendation: Denver

Normally I avoid dealers like the plague, but for a very specific task (hopefully federalizing a gray market import) my only legal option is a Mazda dealership. Who is the best Mazda dealership (service shop) in the area? Don't need anything rotary specific, just need them to play ball without stupid games or treating me like the idiot I probably am.

Yes, yes they do. They have no rotary expertise and generally are terrible just in general. I’m fortunate in that I’m 5 or 6 miles from RESpeed Shop otherwise I’d dump mine.

Well... What I thought I needed required very explicitly a factory authorized repair facility. For grins (and because I'm stuck waiting for terminally delayed parts for work), I called around to all of the dealers in the Denver area with the same difficult question. In part, I was looking for clarification/confirmation, but also to see who was worth dealing with. MacDonald West spent some time with me on the phone, but wasn't the most super helpful despite trying. South wasn't anything at all (they didn't tell me to pound sand or anything, but I genuinely can't remember any help coming from them at all despite being certain I called and talked to someone). Groove, to their credit, admitted that they didn't know ("A wise man knows he doesn't know" -Socrates) and told me to call Schomp and talk specifically to Manuel Beyer for all things rotary, so that was an unexpected twist. He has been the most helpful so far, producing diagrams and putting in some time and experienced thought to the problem. Sill-TerHar seemed like they might be helpful, but I'm waiting for a call back this morning. I'll post back with the remainder of what comes of this little experiment. Kinda bummed that the best so far is also the furthest away... I'll start looking into the indie shops now that the "factory authorized repair facility" piece is out the window.
