It seemed ok as long as you were lucky enough to run before 1ish. After that the weather shifted and it would not have been a fun drive. It sure seemed to be a red flag happy day though. Since the radio coverage sucked so bad I didn't listen much but when I did they were stopped for one reason or another.

But next year I am going to look at getting started in the time trials. Much better value as far as seat time/cost, plus it is more along the lines of what I want to do as far as "racing."
I'll have to get the info from Mark to see what I need to do to get started.
Have any of you guys ever taken your car to Bandimere or any other drag track out there(if another exists)? I was just curious what times you ran since you are in such a high altitude out there.

xexok - I haven't gone to any of the drag strips here or otherwise with my 8. However, I did move from sea level and haven't noticed any difference in acceleration or power once I reset the fuel trims.
Any locals interested in OEM wheels w/o tires w/ TPMS? I had two sets for a while but now I need the space.

Too bad you didn't let us know this two weeks ago. My brother was in town from Reno and needed a set for his car. If price, shipped, is good he still may be interested, but shipping is a bear.

I do also have a set of oem wheels off my gf's old Kia Forte w/ Blizzak's on them if anyone is interested and has a compatible car. Wheels are 17" with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and a +50 offset. Tires should be 215/45R/17 and have seen 2 winters.
When I was last in Colorado I noticed a loss of power but I also did not reset my fuel trims. I was told they would adjust on their own but I was only out there a week so maybe it was not enough time.
Hopefully someone has taken their 8 to the drag track, I know its a rare thing to do.

Ya I have last year. I went to Pueblo Motorsports Park since it was the closest one to me. My best time out of about 5 runs was 16 seconds flat. It was also my first time so I could probably get a little faster. I was kinda hoping for more like 15.5 but whatever lol. Car was bone stock at the time with some summer tires on. It is a 2005 with 60,000 miles at the time I dragged. Pueblo is at about 4,900 feet

So looks like I will be out of Colorado for the next 6 months. Job is moving me to Topeka temporarily to help get some operations up and running out there.
Pretty sure I am leaving the 8 here, parked for the winter. Sad and happy at the same time; don't have to worry about the 8 in the winter, but don't get to drive it the rest of this fall/early next spring.
