Do you think you're going to be able to join us for the mini-meet in Longmont on 2/1/04? Be great to see you there - especially since you're car is NOT titanium... I think all 3 or 4 '8s that are coming thus far are Ti.

As for last Friday at 6th/Simms-Union, twasn't me. If you find yourself up Longmont way and see a Ti '8, chances are it IS me though, as I think I've got the only '8 in town. How cool is that? :D

 

I will be able to attend the mini-meet, don't know yet if I will have a ride-along.

 

Man, we are gonna have a party at Sonic! hehe. Hopefully the weather isn't like today......

Also, along the lines of seeing peoples cars, I see a silver 8 out by 48th and Tower every so often. I don't think they live out here though cause i've only seen it like 3 times....would think i would see it more if they lived out here. That any of y'all? I also see another 8 driving on Airport Blvd too. Maybe we should all post the areas of where we are (at least those of you with 8s... ) if you can't tell...I'm out by the Airport...

Hey guys, don't know if you saw, but the Mazda Rev It Up tour is starting again and they AREN'T coming to colorado! SO that sucks. I sent an email to them asking why not, so we'll see what they say. But maybe we need to send an offical letter from the Rocky Mountain RX8 club maybe backed by a dealership to get them to think about it. Any way, here is the link to the contacts:

Hey all!

Haven't been on the Mountain Forum for some time. Picked up my black RX-8 From Spradley Barr Autoplex in Fort Collins back in mid July. Dealership said I was the first in Colorado to take delivery. I'd like to see about joining the club. Won't be able to meet on Sunday, but interested in future events.

That's exactly what we're doing. It still stands as scheduled for now, but if it gets lousy out I'll send out an email to all club members. Fingers crossed!

Also, is there anyone living in Aurora? We can meet at intersection and make the trip to Longmont together.

Sonic is located on the SW corner of Hwy 287 and Hwy 66. Take I25 to the Longmont/Lyons/Hwy 66 exit (North side of Longmont) and head West toward the mountains. About 3-4 miles along Hwy 66 you'll come to a stoplight for Hwy 287. Turn left (South) and Sonic will be almost immediately on your right.

Snow is falling now, and although it wasn't sticking before, it now looks like it's going to. If it does, we'll have to postpone the meet a week or so. Keep your fingers crossed!

 

Ya, it is snowing down here too now. It isn't too bad, but I hear it is a lot worse up north. So i guess it isn't lookin too good for tomorrow...but it is Colorado! It could be 70 degrees tomorrow and all the snow will be gone by 2!

I'm in Denver, but on the outskits of Aurora. I'm up on 48th and tower basically. About 15 minutes from A-Town mall. Where are you at?
