Not to beat a dead horse, but the builder for Kamal is not a reliable or desirable shop for the rotary community. Lots or horror stories when you look them up. They cant sell on ebay because they are perma-IP banned on there. I worked for the place too, and I quit after seeing all the bad stuff that goes on there first hand. He got very lucky after all the warnings I gave him to be weary of the place and I advised him to be there for the rebuild/engine assembly to be sure that he got what he paid for.

Going to compression test my motor soon and will be posting my results here, may have to look into a replacement engine sooner than I was hoping. Thank you for clarifying that info for me, I've gotten to the point as a forum member where I see so many new threads where people post asking for help without reading that I just stopped reading through basically any threads at all unless it is titled with something specific that I am in search for like in the FS section.

Hi I am new to this forum and would like to see if you could help me trouble shoot what is wrong with my rx8. I lost my keys and was having a set made. The locksmith says that when he plugged his machine into the OBD2 that it was pulling 15 volts. He was unable to program the new key. Any ideas?

Hi, Just brought 231 03 plate 69,000 miles, it had a compression test 4000 miles ago which read. Cranking speed, 268rpm front rotor face 1, 7.8 face 2, 7.6 face 3, 7.45. Rear rotor face 1, 7.87. Face 2, 7.8. Face 3, 7.45. Plan to get health check this Wednesday. Have a rx8 192 also but think it has low Compression Combined with clutch Decided to buy a new one. Have I made the right choice with these readings? Thanks
