We are always evolving and improving products as we go. The 300-336 RWHP was at 6-7psi. There is a lot more power to be found in these turbo kits.

Ah well, I suppose the fact is that we need to do some more dynos and put some higher numbers out there.

When we dyno tune, we start low and increase slowly. In slavearm's case, we were at a California shop using their dyno and he had a lot of issues with his install that we were unable to work on. So, we stopped at 336RWHP per Shane's request.

Now, Slavearm's 8 is in our shop and his turbo kit is being checked over to tighten things up and add some extras. We will be dynoing his car again soon I am sure.

Precisely. Your original post says 400RWHP. This kit produces 400hp or 400 crank hp. Big difference.

You fail at reading comprehension.

The kit can make 400 whp. The turbo is sized large enough to produce it. It comes with larger injectors, upgraded fuel pump, etc. All of which are designed to be able to produce 400 whp. There is currently an issue with the OEM coils that is preventing that number from happening, but it doesn't mean the kit is not capable of making these numbers.

Felix and Kevin. There will be no mud slinging in here again. I expect everyone to be respectful in Mazsport vendor section or I will lock the thread.

Please stay on topic. Thanks

No one on this forums has actually gotten to the limit of this kit. They have merely found the limits of the stock ignition. We haven't seen a dyno of a car with an upgraded ignition and seen it taken to whatever the next limit may be. Eventually, the parts in this kit will not flow enough air or enough fuel, but that point hasn't been proven out yet on this forum. If you believe only and everything you read on an internet forum, you are going to miss out on a lot.

that thing was sweet - i only HOPE to have a similar set up in mine in about a year or two...

right now im just waiting to get the int-x in sept.

*knudge* *knudge* hoping to see mazsport at SSX to see if i could buy the set up from them right then and there...

either way, g'luck with those dyno numbers - im sure they'll be out the roof!

There is no trouble with my reading comprehension. It's simply that the kit currently produces approximately 400hp, not 400whp. I understand completely that the potential to do so is there. But the fact is that it is far from being there.
I'll believe it when I see it. And don't get me wrong, I do hope I see it. Best of luck to Scott and the crew.

On Mazsports website it says that the kits will make up to 400RWHP in the details sections of all the turbo kits. It doesn't claim that it make up to 400hp. Just thought I'd point that out.

Seriously,

I got my car in there right after a couple of other major projects. With all the work they have, it is taking some time. Scott keeps me up to date with what he is doing and what is going on. Betsey faithfully emails me my weekly tab. I think we are getting close to being done. Maybe I will have a party at autobacs when it comes back.

So while you anxiously await your kit, I my car. At least I know when it comes back it will be in tip top shape . In any event, I got some pics from Betsey (aka Shop Mistress) earlier in the week... whoooweee... it sure is purdy. Sorry, I think one of the pics has a top secret part in it so I can't really post it, and this is the type I thread... not really a place for me to flaunt my little black money pit.

In any event. Best of luck. Worst case, see you at sevenstock.

Hey betsey, I read in the type 3 thread you said "these kits will include the coil amplifier" is that just the type 3 or will it be included with mine as well? Just wondering. =) I love mazsport!!!!

Are there any MazSport Type I owners with a dyno plot?
I want to start swapping out the plots in the "Dyno Comparison" thread with owner graphs instead of shop graphs.
It will be more representative of the typical outcomes that way.
Thanks.
