Need Int X Programming help

I have a problem with an 8 that I recently purchased. I posted a thread a few weeks ago about it and have been guided to look at the maps on the PC. I have the software and everything and need guidance on how to review and determine if there is an issue with the maps and if one exists, I need guidance on how to change this. Any recommendations on how to accomplish this. I am green as the day is long on this issue

Thanks for your comments

The problem has been detailed in a post in this forum a couple weeks ago. Smells like it is running rich, idles rough, and wants to stall. Has done that since I received the car. I have the program and a lap top, however don't know what the next step is to start the process?

Thanks for the response

Mine's doing the same, what was your fix? My AFR goes way lean when it stumbles so I figured fuel enrichment would help but it didn't. Maybe I just didn't add enough?

After begging then threatening Mazsport I finally received some support to straighten out the Int X and leaned it out. After that, I replaced the plugs and all seems to be fine right now. Hope this helps

Well I moved my vacuum signal from the lower intake manifold to the throttle body and I can't reproduce the stumble in neutral. It still does it while at low rpm and vacuum (cruising a parking lot) but not as bad. I *think* it is also now responding to fuel enrichment. It's going to take some more playing with it.

quick question, anyone know how to increase the rpms that the SSV opens? It currently opens at around 1500 rpm (previously 500 rpm), I'd like to increase it to see if it helps with the drivability when I'm moving the car at under 2,000 rpm (stop and go traffic)

connect to the system. press O for options. arrow key through menu until SSV. toggle to SSV, press P for program. change the RPM to desired RPM. press P again. and that will change immediately.

CAUTION, do not set this value too high. It could create a mixture problem...not in the Intx but how the intake ports open....

Its not called "SSV", its labeled "SHRTVL" IIRC.

This is another thing about the Int-X that is an issue.
The SSV should be controlled by load, not RPM.

Well, if you set the opening point the a particularly bad RPM point, the shutter will make your car shudder!

I launched the program, hit connect to com1, then hit "O".

I used the arrow keys left and right, up and down, but wasn't able to see anything remotely close to SSV or SHRTVL ... I must be going blind. You guys know what screen # it's on?

I don't remember, exactly and I'm 2700 miles from home at the moment.
Whichever screen it is on, it is in the bottom row, second from the left.
