Does this CAI require adjusting the tune?

I ordered the Mazsport CAI also. I didn't opt for the ceramic coating though.
I'm not worried about shipping/waiting times because I told Betsey to have it waiting for me when I get my car to the shop for my turbo install.

Nope, just polished aluminium.

I asked to have it made from aluminium so I am not exactly sure if that is the material they are all made from.

Mine came in aluminum also. It rocks. The MAF screen is a nice touch as well. That fitment is really tight!

My intake has a metal screen before the MAF also.

Post some pics when you get a chance!

Thanks for the kind words guys. All the new intakes are aluminum and 3.5in diameter. If you would like your intake powder or ceramic coated just ask.

We appreciate your business, Scott

Received mine today - again, the thing is a work of art! I'm thinking of ordering more stuff and just using it in a modern art display in my garage - their products are that gorgeous!!! LOL. Just kidding.

Thanks, again, to Scott and the Mazsport Team!

I received my intake as well and it made a big difference especially on the highway since im getting the much fresher air. Also has anybody had any trouble with the filter being a little big making you to force the bumper to bolt back into place. You know a little push and shove.

For those of you that have the new V2 intake.

What did you use to recirculate the blow-off valve?

I tried a 3/4 to 1" rad hose but It's far from a perfect solution.

Mazsport Cold Air Intake

Upgrade your Greddy Turbo Kit

The stock Greddy Turbo Kit for the RX-8 utilizes a foam filter element directly above the engine cooling fans and under extreme conditions the air entering the filter can be in excess of 200+ degrees Fahrenheit. Once the air is compressed by the turbocharger additional heat is added to the charge air reducing power and increasing chances of costly detonation. Mazsport has addressed this problem by designing the Mazsport Cold Air Intake for the Greddy Turbo. Our kit replaces the Greddy filter element with a large K&N filter in a location where temperatures will usually be 80 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit lower depending on ambient temperatures. The colder intake charge provides more power and reduces stress on engine internals and seals by lowering chances of detonation. This will also lower engine operating temperatures, increase air conditioning efficiency by reducing Intercooler temperature and reducing underhood heat soak.

Includes:
K & N Air Filter
3.5-Inch Aluminum Mandrel Bent Tubing
High grade, reinforced, silicone couplers available in blue or black
Stainless steel t-bolt clamps
MAF sensor relocation
Compatible with most MAF base tuning systems

WAS $349.95.....Price reduced even after revision to:
$329.99

I just noticed something....I ordered this CAI from your ebay store and it says that the tubes are 3". I'm hoping this is not correct as everywhere else it says its 3.5". Can anyone clarify? Thanks.
