Interesting tuned map comparisons for 91 octane CA gas

Thanks to sammyctl; he was the only person out from Scott's recent trip to the west coast who posted his tuned maps. I've attached comparisons between my dyno tuned maps done by a local guy (top row), the stock maps that came with the interceptor (middle row), and sammyctl's (bottom row). It's interesting to see where they are different. I circled those areas in red.

One of the major surprises to me was the idle map. During my tuning Scott emphasized the "0 Hg" cell should never be changed, yet that's what he did with sammyctl's car. I want to ask Scott about that and other differences.

If anyone else from that tuning session would post their maps I would love to see how individual car differences were reflected in their tuning maps.

I'm going to be in Fort Worth soon and I'm going to have Rotary Performance in Dallas tune my car NA while there.

Your rpmcrs map is wayyyy different than mine.. I dont even know how you can drive your car without the afr's being in the 30's... Did you see how much fuel I had to add? Plus.. Are you experiencing a very rich afr when you get off the gas? Take a look at my load map at the 25 - 30 hg level... You can take these values down even further if you want your afr's to be leaner when you get off the throttle...

It's interesting to see how different turbo vs. NA maps are. For rpmcrs look at the middle row. That's the stock values for a turbo.

Ohh you have a turbo.. Maybe I wont be of much help then... If my rpmcrs map looked the way your does, I wouldnt even be able to drive my car.

Did you modify the rpmcrs map picture to include the original values? Or is there someway that I can pull this information up. That would really come in handy while tuning. I have a feeling though that you just opened up the base map and somehow merged the two pictures together.

Even with a turbo you still need to add fuel using the rpmcrs map for part throttle high rpm driving. Mainly meaning when you aren't paying attention and forget to shift.

The NA cars might not need to. Their injectors are staged & ganged differently.

The top values are my current settings. The bottom values are from sammytcl. The middle values are stock turbo maps from Scott.
