My car has the Mazsport fan mod, Mazmart pump, and 80/20 water/antifreeze mixture with a bottle of Redline water wetter. I don't have a real temperature gauge, but even in 100 degree heat lapping Buttonwillow, after a cooldown lap when I pull into the pits the fans stayed off. There seemed to be no boil over or anything for me despite many cars having cooling issues on that day.
Added about 40/60 anti-freeze/water, with Royal Purple's ICE. its about 60-70 F outside today, temp stay around 86-97 Celsius.
I had Redline Water Wetter b4. it seems that its working better than Royal Purple's ICE. Not sure yettttt. need more time to *test*

this is one of those mods that you ABSOLUTELY cannot go wrong with. I've had it for about 6 months and I've definitely seen an improvement in temps. (via digital gauges)

I just drain and refill my radiator today.
Added about 40/60 anti-freeze/water, with Royal Purple's ICE. its about 60-70 F outside today, temp stay around 86-97 Celsius.
I had Redline Water Wetter b4. it seems that its working better than Royal Purple's ICE. Not sure yettttt. need more time to *test*

R888: looks IDENTICAL to the OEM pump. The casting on the outside is the same.

I had promised some feedback but never got around to posting here. I've posted a couple of times on the rx7club.
Ive been running your water pump for a few months now and have done 2 track days with it as well as regular street driving and an autocross. I'm here in San Diego, CA currently.
The water pump has definitely made an improvement in my system. I'm running a custom V-mount [aluminum] radiator and intercooler setup. My temps have been very manageable with this setup but adding your water pump made a nice improvement. I use the Apexi Power FC to monitor temps when I drive.
Typical cruising temps are the same before and after the water pump at around 87 degrees C. My coolant temps stay pretty consistent at 87-88 C when cruising on the highway regardless of ambient temps. I notice that when first started in the morning, it takes a few minutes longer to go beyond mid 70 C coolant temps compared to the stock water pump. I would think that this is b/c the water pump is moving coolant in a quicker ratio compared to stock wp.
In stop and go rush hour traffic or in other situations where I re-start the car and it is hot, I notice that coolant temps decrease faster with your water pump.
I also notice that high RPM doesn't increase my temps as much. Used to be that temps would rise higher than they do when I'm getting on the car hard on the street especially in the mountains.
When in the mountains, I actually see temps lower than before. Sometimes my coolant temps dip into the 78-82 C range which is rather rare for my car.
On track, I have run the car in the above mentioned setup at Buttonwillow for a 2 day event and at Horse Thief Mile. We'll ignore HTM since it was in the 60s that day and its such a short track that it won't challenge the cooling system all that much. At Buttonwillow, my temps didn't go beyond 96 C on a 90 degree F ambient temp day.
I got stuck in stop/go rush hour traffic through Riverside and Pasadena in 90+ degree ambient temps heading to Buttonwillow and temps never exceeded 92 C in that scenario.
This water pump was the last thing my car needed for a track worthy setup (when combined with my custom V-mount setup). I highly recommend this water pump to anyone looking for better cooling and especially to anyone tracking their cars. This works so well I don't even need your lower thermostat. I hope I can return that to you.

I think Im done with my testing, this pump works GREAT !!! never knew a water pump can make such different ....
Anyway, I can also conclude that Royal Purple's ICE does NOT seem to work as well as Redline's Water Wetter. Thats why Im going to drain and Flush my coolant system this week again to get rid of ICE, gonna put Water wetter back in.

The pump is most effective when accompanied by the other parts of the equation that the more astute user is going to be sure to have. It's not cheap to have ultimate cooling but for those who need it and demand it, it's worth every cent. The benefits to rotor housing health (General engine health), and possibly even reducing the tendency toward detonation, go beyond even what the guages indicate.

Hey everyone!
I have been waiting to get my hands on the MazMart water pump since I saw them being sold over at Sevenstock X. Well, I finally got my hands on one and I wanted to share my experiences with this bad boy.
My advice, save your pennies and buy one!
I put this thing to the test at a local Time Attack race here in Phoenix last Saturday. Weather forcasts were calling for 100+ degrees in the afternoon on the 1.1 mile road course at Firebird. This course was NOT a super high speed course as top speeds were around 90 mph.
I believe this pump was the winning ticket in keeping my RX8 from completly overheating while other race cars (and at least one other RX8) were overheating and forced to back down.
During a practice session, I was running WOT in 2nd and 3rd gear for 15 to 20 minutes typically around 7,000 - 8,500 RPMS. My temps were very high, approx 230 degrees but I was able to push my RX8 much harder and longer than I have been able to previously.
I never experienced any issues, and the water system was able to quickly remove heat from the motor with a couple easy laps.
I'm running this pump with straight distilled water, water wetter, and a koyo radiator.
I was very satisfied with this product being able to keep me in the game even in the extreme temperatures at the race track. Well worth the money.

All you need now is the RE-medy radiator to complete the equation (Until I get the thermostats worked out). You're doing all the smart stuff. Our rad is $525 plus shipping but I'll have a little different deal for you. By the way, we have Water Wetter too.

Well, I have some *extra* budget floating around and Im thinking of getting rid of the Koyo cuz Summer itz coooommmiinnnnngg !
I mean for me Koyo works fine I guess, but if so many people said its worst than stock then, I might as well try something else.
Its either CRH's rad, or Paul's rad
