I know about the trims. Actually though, I've only had the car idle poorly once after resetting them, and that was before getting BHR coils. With 20K miles on an original engine, the LTFTs don't need to change much for the car to run well.

The problem was that I didn't press on the go pedal hard enough because the stock flash seems so asthmatic to me now after running MMs tunes for six weeks.

Shouldn't need 5-6 unless you're FI.... NA should be about 3, maybe 4.

N/A is 3 to 7. I have at least one N/A customer that has taken 10 tries so far, but something keeps changing radically in his setup (despite his insistence that nothing has been touched).

FI is typically 5 to 11 iterations, but just like N/A, it depends on the quality of the setup.

so what about the 4th, 5th and 6th gear WOT runs for the 04' and 05' cars? Can i submit those to for better calibrations?

when is the next calibration goodies date?

It is 5th and 6th that have their own table. Have you really thought about this?

4th is on the same table as 3rd on the '05 and down cars.

Are you going to make it all the way to redline in 5th or 6th? lol

Maybe. 5th is doable anyway.

I'd guess you wouldn't want to condone that though

I'm still sitting with the first revised tune, trying to find my vacuum leak before I continue. I figure not getting that located and fixed before continuing is going to be largely pointless, and I'd end up with 10+ like that other guy.

Just started 2 months of my wife not being able to drive, so really starting to dig into it now.

alright who can riddle me this:

A few weeks back i found a local shop to dyno the car and log the runs. They didn't calibrate their system at all and got the wrong RPMs and more. They blamed my bhr kit for causing interference...i blame the operator. Now im going to a different shop whom should know better.

I am assuming the dyno run log should be in 4th starting at 2500rpms...just like at the dyno days yes?

Also, aside from holding dsc for 7 seconds...what else should i ensure the dyno operator does so I can get some good logs and clear dyno results?

Yeah, 'cuz no one has ever dyno'ed a car with the BHR ignition on it. Or, any modern Chevy for that matter.

Thanks for the quick response jeff, one more coming at you:

Leading or Trailing for the ignition source? Just wondering at this point.

Doesn't really matter, but I use trailing front.

It was a rhetorical question.
Just trying to spark up interest and see what the head count is at.

3/4 of my customers aren't even on this forum, so a head count here is irrelevant.

I typically service 30 to 50 people on each of these live tuning days.

Got some dyno pulls done while logging...and i think my VDI is to blame since at ~7200rpms the normal dip did not recover...

The car was not happy at all nor was it smooth...I am correct in saying the VDI is to blame? I did not get in the bay with a vacuum gun to check the valve.
