For the collecting data satisfactory, the only thing is that I don't have anymore A/C or defrost because it is a full track car now (I only have headlights).
However, in a previous email exchange, you already said that it would be ok without those on.
What can I expect out of a MM LIVE session process?
Hopefully this is the right place for this post. I have been looking for how the LIVE tuning process ACTUALLY goes down? What can people expect, and are we doing it from our computer desks with him or sitting on a laptop in our car? Is there a post already covering this? I am sure I am not the only one that has questions, in fact I have a friend hesitant to buy the AP and tuning service because of this and other legitimate questions he has for his MazdaSpeed6 that I dont want to answer cause I dont like talking out of my a** lol.
I have a couple myself If somebody would be nice enough to assist so that I have everything ready. Suggestions would be appreciated also to help me with this process beyond what MM requires minimally to better smooth out the process.
I have a FI application and waiting for the next tuning session; I have no boost gauge (Is that completly required for the tune?). I have a turbonetics manual boost T controller and its currently turned all the way down (figured it would be safest until tune).
So I guess my concern is - I havnt done my logs yet, will my boost controller set on the lowest setting effect my data log for MM to tune my settings too? Should I remove the Boost Controller and just put the hose back together while I run the data log for submission being that I cant currently tell what PSI I am at? I appreciate all feed back and suggestions.

Disconnecting the boost controller and running on just the wastegate spring is typically the safer alternative. However, you are going to want to have the car tuned with whatever setup you're going to run as the process is more precise. Tuning the boost controller is best done on the dyno and not the street.
Again, review the data log submission process and the instructions instructions again and you'll find your questions will be answered.

There is a bug in the calibrations that is tied to the newest firmware that may cause the AccessPORT to become unstable, lock up in the monitor mode and/or cause the calibration to be incorrectly loaded into the PCM.
This seems to only affect the North American and European calibration, but please feel free to contact me for an update no matter what your location is if you are still on a "v4.0.0" calibration.
Those with "v4.0.1" and higher needn't worry as your calibration should already be updated, especially if you received your most recent file within the last 3 months.

I unpluged/replug and it started working again. i dont have any updates yet, only the base map.
i'm on OEM coils but i'm waiting for my ignition kit to be delivered. im also waiting to instal my sohn adaptor.

I have the latest version of the accessport manager and latest version of the AP firmware.
i read that there was some bugs with the 4.0 version, MM said that. i think ill do my datalog soon to get the next map.
is it ok to do the basemap datalog with my oem coils and without the sohn or should i wait?

1) You are on your own for Dwell settings
2) I've never heard of a base map or a "ATR Map" having bugs. Likely MM was talking about a Firmware version on the AP

I just bought a used Cobb. It works on the car and I have registered with Cobb installed the AccessTUNER Race software on my PC but the links to AccessPORT Manager 2.0 software, FAQ and the help guides on the Cobb forum are working any ideas why. Is there a time delay?
