AccessPORT Instructions Instructions
I sent you an email a few days ago and thought I would follow up in the thread. Hopefully you see this. I ordered my ap on the 22nd, and according to the tracking number my ap has not shipped yet. I see that someone who ordered theirs on the 28th was to have the ap shipped on the 12th of this month. Is there still a delay? Any revised ETA's? I still want it, just would like a revised time frame if you have one. Thanks.
Thanks for the heads up Jedi, thats what I wanted to know. Is there a thread that is tracking the status? I did a search and this thread was the closest I came to answering my questions/had others asking similar questions.
here goes... I got my ap a few weeks ago. I already reflashed my car with the v4.0. I've completed two drive cycles and I'll start data-logging hopefully today!!!
Question though. I've driven my car quite a bit since reflashing the car (ie brought it up to operating temp at least twice a day for the last 2 weeks after the reflash). Does this affect anything before I start logging? Cause in these instructions, it
says to do 2 drive cycles.
thnx

I'll start my data logs probably next week.
Just wanna tripple check with you Jeff, I'm running on crappy coils right now and my BHR coils won't get here until early next month hopefully. If I record my stock data on these worn out coils will the tune you send back still work roughly the same as with the new coils?

got a question guys, got my cobb it was on a manual car and unmarried to it made sure, now im trying to get the access tuner race, and for 05 it only shows manual? can i use the 04 or no? any ideas?
What's the difference between logging for "Accel. Pedal Pos. (%)" and "Throttle Position (%)"? Is it a significant difference to throw off the tuning procedure?
EDIT: I assume since this is drive by wire the former is the requested amount of throttle (foot on pedal), while the latter is actual (throttle body position). My second question still stands.

So is the parameter technically unnecessary for the initial log analysis (idle & cruise)? I ask this because I realize much later after submission that I used throttle position in my initial logs ( Sept. 6 from Michael S. -- mds????? at gmail ). I did nonetheless receive a "submission successful" message two days later. I would hope that if this mistake is negligible that you'd be able to overlook it, otherwise let me know I need to resubmit.
I do not mean to debase your instruction requirements as I understand the need to standardize the input you receive. I made the mistake of using throttle position instead of accel. pedal position and do not intend to do so again.

Regarding 4.0.1 and higher instructions for WOT logs referring to "redline", should one go until hearing the beep ("dashed redline" if you will) or further until "solid redline"?
The tach obviously over-reports the actual RPM compared to the AP; would it be possible to provide a discrete RPM value that one should hold WOT until?
Does hitting the rev limiter while recording this log impair the results for your tuning purposes?

Run it as high as you are comfortable or will run it in normal operation.
To the beep is usually around 8500 real RPM.
Some run it to fuel cut.
My personal preference is to run to fuel cut on NA cars and until 9000 RPM indicated or so on FI cars.

I plan to install the base calibration this weekend and then collect the data for the live chat on May 17. I suppose on that live chat I will get a new calibration which I will use until the next one which in in June.
My question is the following: in a couple of weeks I will start my track season. Is it recommended to track the car after the first custom calibration of May 17? Should I wait to start the procedure after that track day? Don't want to mess everything up!
thank you
