Suspension Alternative: BC Racing Coilovers

BC Racing
A fairly new company based out here in FL, they provide good coil-overs and arguable some of the best bang for the buck coil-overs I've seen.
BC Racing is proud to provide coilovers that strike the best balance between performance and cost. We have designed all the most popular and essential features into our coilovers while keeping the end price down for the consumer. Whether you are cruising down the street, enjoying your favorite twisty mountain road or tearing up a race track we have a coilover system for you. You get to choose your springs rates, either keeping the recommended spring rates or selecting from our available stock. We even install the springs for you so you don't have the hassle of doing it in your garage or living room. As an added service if you choose spring rates 4k higher or lower than the recommended setting we will revalve the dampers for you. Here at BC Racing we beleive you shouldn't have to pay a premium price for a quality coilover system.

RX-8 S#3P

BR Type Coil-overs

Our BR model is perfect for street driving and occasional road course duty. With easily accessible adjustment ***** for fine tuning your compression/rebound and separately adjustable ride height, having a performance coilover system couldn’t be any easier. You choose how low or high you want your vehicle, no preset ride height here, and our patented concave lower locking ring keeps it locked in. All of our systems come with pillowball mounts to provide the most feedback possible from your suspension and to sharpen your steering response. BC’s available front and rear camber plates also allow you to get the perfect alignment setup without compromise. All this while providing a strong, attractive looking coilover system.
Mono-tube shock design
30 levels of damping force adjustment, adjust compression/rebound
Front and Rear Pillowball Mounts available
Separate full length height adjustable
One year warranty
Rebuildable locally in FL
Spring Rate: 8 front - 6 rear
MSRP: $1250
PM me for Best Pricing!!!

ER Series Coil-overs

Our newest and most advanced model yet is the ER series coilover. It features large external reservoirs front and rear, separate rebound and compression adjustment and a twin piston design. The external reservoirs hold much more oil than the conventional coilover, allowing the coilover to operate for a much longer period of time before overheating. The external reservoirs also house the secondary piston, which allows for the fine tuning of compression. This is the perfect coilover system for the person who wants to fine tune there setup using the separate, 30-way, rebound and compression tuning dials.
External Reservoir Mono-tube shock design
30 levels of damping force adjustment, adjusts both compression and rebound separately
Twin piston design
Pillowball mounts and adjustable camber plates included
Separate full length height adjustable
One year warranty
Rebuildable locally in FL
Spring Rate: 8 front - 6 rear
MSRP: $2195

Nice to see another coilover with seperate compression and rebound adjustment.

Pillowball mounts and adjustable camber plates included? Front and rear? I dont think anyone has done that for the rx8 yet.

Modified Magazine used the BR type kit on there project RX8.

Are you sure about the camber plates? According to the application guide the camber plates are only available on select models and the RX8 is not one of them.

With our double a-arm suspension we don't need camber plates. If you need more camber, Mazdatrix sells bushings that allow for more. We get a good amount of adjustability with our suspension though. Guess it would depend on your wheel/tire sizes.

I agree on the camber plates but there are some people that want/need more negative camber in the front. I for one am on the edge with my setup.

The lower control arm bushings mazdatrix sells are from drop engineering and mazdaspeed (the same I think). They can be bought or much less elsewhere. I want to support our forum venders but only when those venders offer prodcuts at or near where I can get them elsewhere. The exception is if the service is far supperior. Neither is the case with Mazatrix and most of the items they sell.

Both the delrin upper and lower control are bushings are on my possible list, but I am going to try poly bushings from energy suspension first.

Yeah the delrin will increase the NVH a lot more than the poly. Do a review on what you think of them if you do it. I would like to know.

Sorry for cluttering your thread sir. Now I am curious if there are camber plates available if we want/need them? I wonder if another manufacturer makes them if not BC.
