You should try to finance it thru Oklahoma Central Credit Union. I have a fantastic connection with them, that you could use to try to get the car back. Just let me know. Glad to hear that you are both ok!

I would love nothing more than to get a rx8 again. But I figured I wouldn't get the car anyway. At the time I had only been on my job for 3 months. So I figured I wouldn't get loan. But all they wanted was more money down. So they said. Plus it was prolly better for the time anyway to not get one. We are in process of finding a house. And should wait so things don't get too tight. I have used ttcu before with 2 other car loans. But that was my previous job where I had good job time. I would rather have a lower payment anyway. Plus I don't get paid for crap where I work now. But better than before. Just harder to make 2 big car payments with jobs me and wife have. But I do thank u much for the help.and will keep that in mind when getting next vehicle. Ttcu rates ate kinda high anyway.

And we saw yall again in pryor industrial park. I flashed lights at you but I was in my car and prolly didn't reconized it. Yall havnt seen my geo. Lol. Its tan with black trim, black hood scoop, and black wing that sounds like a pissed off bumble bee. Also has what "looks" like round headlights. But if you wonder "why?!?" I bought the car that way. It was a good deal and is great on gas! Might fix it up a lil and nobody will ever think its a geo.

LOL, yeah we were in locust yesterday because ND had to make a truck payment at a dealership there. I was looking for y'all, but never saw you. I am usually in pryor every weekend and we were all over the place yesterday running errands. Can't wait to take a drive with the whole group!

ND and I are all for it and have tentatively put it in our schedule just in case it is a go. We just need specifics because we will have his son that day and will have to drop his son back off in pryor at 6:30. Plus I will have to swing by to pick ND up on the way from tulsa to locust.

Ok so I have a technical question, seeing as I am still new to the whole rotary engine thing. What are they talking about when they say that rotary engines have a high risk for engine flooding?

You basically drown your engine in fuel...Just don't turn your engine off before it has had time to warm up and you'll be okay...examples if you're needing to back it out into the driveway for a car wash, or pull into the garage, etc....

You probably already know this but, make sure you check your oil level regularly, by design this car not only drinks gas, it burns oil...

April 11th sounds great

To avoid flooding you need to let the car reach full temp before shutting it off. If you do flood it. You will need to change the oil and more than likely the plugs. Plugs are $100. So be careful.

I'm down for the 11th. Just let me know

The 11th it is my friends. The day after my wifes bday. And day before our 2 year 5 month anniversary. Which run would you guys like to run? 412? Or towards spavinaw? Either is ok for me.

Also. What time should we all meet up in Locust? Really! and ND have to be back in Pryor at 6:30 So we should have pleanty of time to be able to do some driving. From Catoosa to Locust is about 30-45 min. Alot of you guys are making a good drive for this. So we would like everyone to be comfortable. Also there is a store right by where we are meeting that has ethonal free gas! Great fill up time. Current price is 2.69 a gal. To get to Locust You will get on 412 East. And stay on it. You will go through a series of curves then come up to a small town. At the 2nd stop light you will a see a grocery store on your right named Harps. Thats where we will meet. You will see my truck and jenifers car as well. Cant miss it. The whole drive is 412. No turning.

Thanks guys for the info on flooding the engine. I did already know about shutting the engine off cold, I just did not know if there was some other cause to the engine flooding. So thank you very much for the info. So are all of us that live here in the tulsa area driving out there on our own or as a group. I know the way there like the back of my hand, due to having a bf that lives out there. Just did not know if we were all meeting up somewhere here first and driving out or just all meeting there at a specific time. The earliest I could leave Tulsa is noon, because it is Sunday and I have church in the morning. Just let me know.

Got my rear sway in today then an endlink broke while trying to take out the front sway. I just can't seem to win these days. Got new endlink being overnighted from Mazda. Will fix it after work. What do you do? At least I got my confirmation on my datalog submission for my tune.

You could A: Sell it then kick yourself in the *** later for doing it. Or B: just do what we all will do anyway. Keep fixing it because its a car you love and you know it. lol. Been down that road before. Every time I replaced parts on my mx3 something else would break. I thought many times of selling the thing. Mainly when my clutch went out twice. but I went ahead and fixed it anyway. Its a car I love. Plus you know you will never get out of the car of what you put into it. I kick myself in the *** everyday for selling my mx3. But thats the way the cookie crumbles. Good luck to ya! If Ilived closer I would so help ya put the parts in.

Don't forsee me getting rid of her anytime soon. Still have much to do. Well, maybe if I could get an 06 M3 convertible. lol. I will continue to work on her out of love and the pure joy of driving her. So I complain and bitch, then get up the next morning and go right back to work on it.

Thanks for the short therapy section

We need to decide on a time to meet in Locust and if the Tulsa wants to roll together that direction. I think we should definitely be in Locust by 1:30- 2. We could meet in Catoosa at the 191st QT around 12:30 or 1, if that would be enough time for everybody to get there. I cleared my schedule, so I'm good for whatever.

That sounds fine with Really she can be there at 12:30. So who all is coming? This way we know how many cars to wait for.

Xtreme Velocity and Jennifer it was nice running into you two today. Looking forward to next week.
