When I get my aftermarket radio we can talk really! And mod day we will haft to find a place soon! And um I'm haveing bad problems with my 8! We replaced my plugs well cleaned them replaced coil packs cleaned cai cleaned the sensor the car still is bogging down when at a stop or hault then jump up and boggs down real bad and getting worse idk what's the deal I'm going back to carlos again this week! Can ne1 help?

Hello, new guy from muskogee - Josh - Don't have an 8 yet, im still lookin for one. Tryin to sell the jeep as well. Anyways Really said to stop by and say hey, so here i am!

I saw someone w/ an 8 in tulsa tonight around 109th and memorial by Hideaway pizza. Blacked out 8 with grey rims, and an aftermarket exhaust and led tails, male driver. Pretty sharp 8.

It was really NDK (my boyfriend) that posted to your forum (he was on my acct since it was already up). Welcome to the club and can't wait to see the 8 you buy. If you need any help just let us know! Oh, btw what kind of jeep and how much? ND is trying to sell his '01 dodge 1500 and wants to get either a jeep or a bike.

That is cool with me jen, hope you get your issues resolved with the 8. My condenser went out (rock hit it!) so i am in the processes of finding one so that ND can replace mine before our typical inferno summer begins.

 

Oh - I've got a Jeep Compass 4x4. It's one of the small{er} road jeeps. I love it but always have and always be a car person.

 

Btw > Forgot to say it's a 2007 w/ 40,000 on the clock. i've got it listed at 14,000 right now.

 

Welcome to the club. Keep us posted on what 8 u buy. There arer a lot of people who know a lot about the 8s. And will give u great info on finding the right 8 and what problems to look for and questions to ask. For instance. U ask them how they took care of their car. Ask them if they check oil consatly if answer no. They did not take care of it. Ask them if the drove car hard. If answer no. Then again it will not be a good car. Ask them if they always let car warm up in mornings. And ask if they made a lot of short trips in it turning car on and off.

One thing to remember is to check oil regularly, use premium gas only, redline car everyday, and never EVER turn car off when its not fully warm.

BTW what model year and options are you looking for in a 8?

The year really doesn't matter, Only thing i want in it is leather/moon roof. That's what my Mazda 3 had and i loved it. Color doesn't matter either. There's a couple on here for sale, if i can ever sell my jeep.

 

Well we have room and pavment but not level pavment. Not anywhere to safely put a 8 on stands. But ill look around to see if I can find a place. And we could do her condenser. I only wish they had a haynes manual on these cars. Sure would be nice! And a grill would be sweet! I have a few small jacks to use as well and I'm sure I can obtaine mre stands if needed.

Yes it is a small town here. And from what I have read the 06 and 07 models are the better models due to a few upgrades like the extra oil injecter and a lot smarter than other models. But a lot of guys and gals have the 04 and 05 models and they are great cars as well. But finding a leather with sunroof won't be hard at all.

 

Nah just finding one locally is the trick. If i don't sell my jeep to an individual i will have to go through a dealership for my 8. I found a handful in Dallas if push comes to shove and my jeep doesn't sell.

Well guys, I made it home safe but the car wasn't so lucky. I compromised a coolant seal and will be rebuilding my engine soon. Planning on doing some porting and upgrading the seals. Don't think I'm going to go as extreme as a bridgeport but who knows. Welcome to the club

Hey gang I have a 2004 rx 8. Got it about a month or so ago. It is AWSOME!!!! And that says a lot coming from an ole muscle car guy! So when does the tulsa club meet. Like to meet all of you so I pick your brain on this no piston thing LOL. I have some big plans for my 8 but it would be noce to have a group that has been through some of this already.

Welcome danny! Glad to have you in the club! We should be setting up a mod day for month of may as our monthly meet. EVERYONE is welcome including wwjd even if you don't have a 8 by then. I currently don't have a 8 anymore and I still join all the meets. But my wife has a 8. But ur still welcome. Can't wait to meet everyone and see everyone again.

 

Do you only do air brush things? Or can you do body paint as well?
