TexasRxs-Austin RESCHEDULE: Oct. '06 Events.
Open to all drivers & cars!!
OCT:
*1 Sun. 3pm-Smithwick/Cafe Bleu-Lake Travis.
Meet Schlotsky's 183N/Balcones Woods Dr.
*4 Wed. 6pm Monthly Meeting-Rudy's BBQ 183N/Duval Rd.
*14 Sat. 10am-Gruene CANCELLED.
*NEW TIME/DATE/EVENT:15 Sun. 11:30am-Wimberley/Blanco-lunch on the Square is substituted. MEET: 11:30am Carrabba's/Outback lot 183N/Duval Rd, LEAVE: 12noon sharp, HOME: 4:30am+-.
Note: Sun. Oct. 22-Rolling Stones in Austin.
Other events/drives TBA.

I suppose so, really it's neither, it's actually west anyway, but if they were to start throwing around 183 s, n, e, and w thst place would be even more confusing than it already is, especially with it's "4 names per road rule" in effect

North on 183N or South on 183N: Rudy's BBQ is @Duval Rd. exit, west side feeder.
NORTH/west of IH-35 is *183N* to Lampassas (or Research Blvd in town); Rudy's BBQ is 183N/Duval Rd. exit, West side feeder.
SOUTH/East OF IH-35 is *183S* to the airport.
You can be going North or South on either one.
Check a map; 183N runs NW from IH-35 to Cedar Park, Leander, Briggs, Lampassas.
This is either clear as a bell or thoroughly confusing
but Rudy's is
usually in the same place & doesn't seem to move around very much. Spock
would call this "a Universal Constant" in an everchanging Universe.

Just a reminder it's on this Wednesday!
Some times the first of the month really screws us, so be sure to remember, show up, have some "'q", scope out some cars, meet some cool people etc etc etc

I won't be there in the 1st as I will be in houston at school, but I will see everyone that is going on the 4th. Really looking forward to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a silly question but it may be relevent given the history of some of these meets. What will happen if it rains? I know it is an evil thought but since I joined we have already had one cancel due to weather. This would be a bit more expensive to cancel that just not going...
