Okay, saw and waved at a suped up Black 8 at Red River and 7th in Austin, around 6pm yesterdat (5/8). It looks like he had an apperance package, but different looking... maybe it was a mazda speed front and ground effects? Also, I noticed a larger exhaust in the rear view mirror as I turned on to Red River and sped away. I heard some of it as he took off a few seconds later. A sharp looking car in black!

heh, mostly around carrollton because thats where I work.
I live in grapevine so usually 121/114 around colleyville, southlake, and coppell.

...though there is a "regular" black 8 that parks around my work in the afternoons... around the colorado and 6th/7th streets. I see the car at the parking meters every now and then when I'm leaving.

thanks for the soundfile BigOLundh, sounds interesting... I hope to keep my 8 around after warranty to see what stuff I can do to my car, like the afore mentioned. I'll need to look into that.
Unfortunately I didn't hear much of his car, as I pulled away in the opposite direction.

Spotted a VR on Bryant Irvin Rd last night about 6:00 p.m. headed south over 20. Couldn't tell anything about it. Only saw the top half over the sides of the bridge. Looked very clean, and appeared to have tint, and a spoiler.

Saw a yellow today, lightly tinted windows, factory spoiler, getting on to 35 south right before 121 business. I was in a red Miata and honked the horn.
As a side note, anyone know anyone that wants to buy a 92 Miata that runs awesome with 117K miles for $4.5K? New rag top (3 weeks old, zippered glass window).
