Well, it was a guess... I was sitting in Thai Orchid at the corner of Quarum and Beltline waiting for a buddy and his wife to join me when I saw the TG pull up in the same parking lot... she got out with a yoga mat and was in appropriate atire, so i put 1 and 1 together and got 3

 

Spotted a Black w/orange corners this morning around 10:30 going north on 35W, stuck in traffic. OEM spoiler, no tint, red calipers and rotary accent package. I was in a Honda.

Spotted a Shinka, GT pkg today in Sanger around noon. I was in a Honda.

Spotted a White parked at Candy Haven today around 3:30-4pm. I was inside and then leaving in a Honda.

Spotted a Silver parked on 25th St. in the Stockyards today around 5pm. OEM spoiler, orange corners, texas air freshener hanging from the mirror. I tagged it, after I got out of a Honda.

 

Get out of that Honda.

whoop, I finally saw another 8 in my neck of the woods. Black crossing hwy77 north of Waxahachie at the gas station stop light.

I was the dirty NG that came screeching to a halt at the light going south on 77 (testing the brakes out just to make sure that they are still awesome...scared the car next to me pretty bad).

 

I know... We used it today to run errands (since we had to drive about 100 miles total today). I tried getting into my 8 this evening for another errand and it wouldn't start! We got jumper cables and it charged a little, but still no start. I don't know what the deal is.

 

Oh - PS - if you see a dark grey Honda Accord with blue/gold Delaware tags driving around, looking lost, it's Boxrs (my fiance). He also acquired a "Someone In Texas Loves Me" bumper sticker. It's on his back windshield. If you see him on the road, feel free to honk... or give him the finger. He'll kindly return the favor. Damn Yankee drivers.

I tried starting my car today, for the first time in about 6 days... and it was dead again. I dont know whats going on. I can't figure out whats causing the battery to drain.

Traffic sucked so bad, and I was headed to something important and that made me really really pressed for time.

I got spotted!

 

Red going east on 635, just past luna, I sped up to it and nodded at the driver, he just went on.

Briefly saw a TG as a went through the intersection of 121 and Macarthur. It was on the east bound access road waiting at the light and I was going southbound. Saw it too late to make any kind of signal.

 

So sad I haven't had any luck with drivers nodding or waving back around here either.

 

No one has seen me. I drove from uptown Dallas to Lake Lewisville area on friday evening, then made a mad dash to Fry's on 635, then went back to my friend's house.

The next day, you could have spotted 2 RX8s, a very dirty one, and then a nice clean polished one, driving up and down/ respectively, 35, 635 and 75.

Today was spent in the garage while I be bopped around on foot.

Also, Trulucks has decent food, slightly overpriced. Also, Oyster in New Orleans are $6.50 a baker's dozen, not 13:50 for 6. WTF????

 

I was driving in front of another 8 on Saturday night on Westheimer before Dunvale here in Houston--I could tell from the headlights--didn't see color though. If you on here I was the Nordic Green on chrome that turned right on Old Farm Rd.

 

Spotted a TI Gray off of Hillcrest and McCallum today around 4:30 PM.

I was driving the beater (Red Camry), otherwise i would have waved.

Saw a Brilliant black as I was coming up by 820 and N. Beach here in Fort Worth about 6pm today (monday) looks to be driven by some girl? possibly cute? Looks like she parked in the starbucks parking lot right before I turned off.

Also so a Ti Grey driven by an older blonde lady on N. Beach about 20 min later - waved but got nothing back.

 

Spotted a black parked in the LMRA parking lot. Orange corners w/fog lights.

 

Spotted a TG (I think) somewhere in downtown Dallas at about 6:30p.m. They were driving in front of me and I wish I knew where I was so that I could have caught up, but I was clueless and following another car.

I was spotted by another 8 going north on Grand tonight at about 10:30p.m. I don't know what color it was. I was going south toward I30 and I saw the lights flash before I realized there was another 8 coming my way. Sorry I didn't flash or wave back.

 

Just as I was exiting 635 eastbound at Midway, I saw a SS about 2 cars ahead staying on the highway. Couldn't tell much cept that it had spoiler and rotary accent. If I didn't know that John was a bum when it came to getting up early, I might guess this was him.... well, was it?

 

Spotted a SS on 183 eastbound w/temp tags from Hiley. Female driver. I was in the Honda so I didn't wave.

 

Saw a nordic green with appearance package on Highway 6 at 3:05ish yesterday (Houston) I was driving my g/fs Volvo S40 so didn't wave; later that evening I flashed lights on a black RX8 with black rims on UH campus--by Cullen Oaks to be exact.

 

Spotted a black with clear corners, OEM spoiler, parked in a driveway off on Brenden St., behind the Home Depot on White Settlement Rd. I went over to a friend's place for a party and it was in the driveway. I was parked in the street right next to it.

 

That was me again.
I was over there hanging out with a couple of friends playing poker and trying not to lose my money. Didn't see you, though. The party must've been over by the time I left (around 12:30am).

It figures, though, that the week after I Zaino'd and had the car all nice and shiny no one would spot me, but I do get spotted when the car's filthy from all the rain. Oh, well.

 

LOL, well it was nice to meet you today CAEpoxy. Sorry it was short, I didn't want to keep the house lady waiting.

 

It was nice to meet you too, Dazygirl. I was kinda surprised - I didn't expect anyone to walk up to me and start talking about RX8club.com. That was pretty cool.
