Good news everyone Sevenstock 9 has a green light. Once again the So-Cal RX-Club will be hosting the internationally famous rotary roundup in Mazda's backyard. This year however things will be a little different. The show is moving down the road to the Mazda North American Operations Headquarters (located in Irvine, CA).

The event will be help October 28th 2006 and is expected to be the largest event yet!

With gas prices in their current state of inflation it is unlikely there will be a big caravan effort, so start booking to flights now. If you watch for specials from the airlines you could make the trip for less than the cost of that last speeding ticket you got!

So let the planning begin, see you there!

 

Dr. Killjoy... did you mean to post this in the west forum or are you posting it here so our Gulf Group can get organized on a plan to go out there?

I'm there, better start looking for flights. At least my little Fort Worth adventure should earn me enough hotel points to cover part of the trip.

 

damn, and i was looking to drive down from VA to meet up with you all for the TX caravan... guess i'll have to fly to Irvine as well lol

 

Southwest will have fares sooner or later for as little as $74 to Orange County Airport (aka John Wayne Airport). I recommending using the "DING!" service they have.

 

For those who don't know, if you stay at the hotel the event suggested last year, it's right across the street from the airport, i.e. no taxi cab needed. Just make sure someone in the group rents a car to get you to the show!

What time are you getting in?
I get in about 1pm on the 27th and I leave at 6pm on the 29th. We should all hook up and go bar hopping again like last year.

 

I just did a price inquiry on the GT500H... it's 150 a day! LOL.
Screw that!

 

we will have a car for the weekend. Fred and I are getting in around 11am on Friday.

 

There are plenty more brewpubs out there that I want to go try out. I have the list!

Let me know the name and we can go back. Was it the last one we went to the night before we left? We walked out of Steelhead Brewing Company because their beer sucked so bad and went to it. I can't remember the name.

 

I'll check the name when I get home. That place had great beer and great food.
