Question Service Depts in DFW

What experiences has everyone had with the Mazda service departments in the D/FW Metroplex? I bought my -8 from a dealership in OK, but don't want to have to take it up there for service.

The closest dealership to the house is Village Mazda of Denton, so any experiences with their service department would be appreciated. But I don't mind driving to one of the others for good service.

Thanks,

Compiler

I also live in flower mound. I brought my 8 to village of denton to have the oil pan replaced. Great customer service.

Was at Town North Mazda - 4 of their techs have gone through the RX-8 service classes - they sent them one at a time for the betterpart of a week for it. When you go into there service dept, their RX-8 certs are mounted on the wall.

I'll second that on Town North. Don Marvel works there as an RX8 tech. For those of you who aren't familiar with that name, he has been building racing rotaries for about 25 years and has a performance shop in Rowlett TX. I shook his hand, BS'd with him for awhile and politely asked for the "M" flash and AC amplifier. The Cust service lady gave me a rental and said to call them tomorrow. I got a call from Don about 2 hours later to pick up my car. It was freshly flashed, stickered, washed and the AC amp is on order. DAMN!!

Town North - ask for Penny or Mike, both outstanding front-deskers and the service has always been top notch.

I actually met Don Marvel at his shop, Marvelspeed, last night at around 10pm. He's a great guy! There were 13B rotaries all over and when we showed up, he was in the process of working on one. If you've never seen a rotary out of a car (and I hadn't until yesterday), they're DAMN small.

Anyway, I will go to town north from this point on since I bought my car in hurst. Don now knows who I am and will make sure my car gets treated right.
