I'll keep klar in the loop on what our plans will be as they develop/change as I talk to him daily.

 

I just recruited another female!!!! She's cool as **** (because she hangs out with me) so it'll be a blast. Her and I used to party together back in the day... we went to a Halloween party this past year and she was the first girl I kissed... Yep, this will be fun!

No, ya'll haven't met her yet. We used to wait tables together in high school before she left for college. We ran into each other at the community college and kept in touch. We used to live down the street too. She was the kind of friend that my ex hated because he knew what we did when we left the house. :D Oooh I'm getting excited!! If you want to know dirt--she's the girl to ask. Crazy girl convinced me to enter a hot body contest at the Rack Daddy's in Arlington many moons ago. Whoo. Trips down memory lane...

 

Me and weininaustin are getting alot of the details together and have a pretty good itenerary, we will update you in a couple of days.

 

I think that that works best because then the main part of the planning is between two people. With less of a chance for the thread to get hijacked and run amuck.

 

Does everyone want to eat at the rig at 6 before we leave? Or do we want to eat on our own before everyone meets up?

 

I'm for eating, haven't been to The Rig though. Will it be busy on a Friday night? Should we make reservations?

 

They have private rooms or we can reserve a table.

Hell, if they don't charge for the room let's reserve that for 6 on the 22nd under RX8Club.

It will also give people leway if they are running behind too, but they may have to eat somewhere quick because we headout at 7:30.

 

Ok, Jenkins...as organizer, I'll leave it in your capable hands for the reservations. I am looking forward to this trip and just meeting other owners.

They are waiving their usual $50 deposit because she likes me

 

I thought that you and Weininaustin were going to coordinate the hotel arrangements. Does anyone know how many rooms we can get? We might need to call the hotel pretty soon to see if we can get a few adjoining rooms.

So use his site, then send him the details and see what he gets for you. Just mention that yall are the DFW RX club.

 

After looking at his site, it might be more trouble than its worth. But its another option.

Ok, Shari (Alwazl8) said that she "might" be able to make it to where she may be able to meet up with us at the Rig. Man, all I can say is for someone to drive that far.... They had BETTER have like the best BBQ and Steaks. If not, I'm sure someone will have no problem telling her that Scalliwag picked this place.

 

YEAH! You got that right.... I think I'm probably driving the farthest so it better be damn good food, Scalli! :p

 

how about this, if you make it to The Rig, I'll buy your dinner. Will someone be coming with you? I'm sure that will be a very long day of driving if you are running solo.
