Wise words!!

I am ok with whatever price the hotel is!! Is the OMNI the one? If so, how should we go about booking rooms? Sorry if this has already been mentioned! My eyes started to blur after reading 10+ pages of posts!!

Also, Jackie, can you post a list of the confirmed to date?

Ok...so I just don't have time to read through all of the thread, but it looks like now there are more people than just me meeting in Hillsboro? If so, I think I can probably find a good place to eat there. There are some restaurants right off the highway, but I can call my mom and dad to find out if there are any really neat (unique) places that I don't know of since they are there all the time. Heck...I might just call and see if mom wants to go shopping tomorrow in the outlet mall and take a look while I am there.

No need to pass me the number. As soon as you get your certs, let us know as we may have everyone who has these certs call in and reserve the rooms at 50% off. But I will already have rooms on hold for us at the AAA rate. We can just compare the price difference and we all may not be able to book with that cert during that weekend if they catch on.

 

I just emailed Drkilljoy!! Hopefully the Houston folks will have interest. I'll keep you all posted.

Great!!

I just booked 5 Exec Suites at $309 each night. They say that we can only have 5 per room. ;-) sure, we'll do that.

Each room has 2 bedrooms with a dining and living area. So, that means we'll have plenty of room. There are not many nonsmoking rooms left for the deluxe and they looked pretty small, so I figured we could squeeze more people in the exec suites and come out ahead.

We should plan on a back up hotel for any stragglers. There are a couple of other hotels, not as nice as Omni, but still close to 6th. LaQuinta and Radisson are 4/5 blocks from 6th.

Ok, must pack car and head back to Dallas

 

Is the $309 the price at 50% off?

 

When is all this suppose to take place.

 

The weekend of April 22nd and 23rd.

 

Reason being is that weekend, myself and others are making plans to "shoot the moon" over at pace bend and hang out and hopefully get in some ski time,and of course (the suds). :p

 

Hope we get more people because there is no way I can afford that.

 

It should be the $300 divided by how ever many we can fit in a room. I'm sure we can fit more than 4 in a suite.

 

What? $309 per room with 5 guests each is about $60 per person per night. That's not that bad.

 

Maybe we will get them cheaper with those certificates, but I am paying for three peeps, Me, Amber, and the sitter. Guess I better start saving. :D

 

You and me both. I didn't win a penny this past weekend. At least Tuesdays offer free pool :o

 

If they have two bedrooms per, I would be willing to share with another couple. My wife is coming so the more "rowdy" bunch would be a little too much as far as sharing a place goes.

 

Since I'm not a "significant" other, just stick me where ever there's room. I'm not picky.
