Meeting up and going downtown will be fun.
Is there a list of 8's already in Austin that will attend? If so add me.

I have some thoughts on a Saturday drive to see some of what Austin has to offer. I'll write it up later.

I have 4 two-way radios for the trip. Does anyone else have two-ways? Mine have a 5 mile radius. I'll grab them when I go to Austin this weekend. I would really like for everyone to have a radio, it makes communicating so much easier.

I can borrow 6 two-way radios with varying radii, possibly borrow two more.

You're goofy.

I was searching in a thread and found his and hers reds: https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=11832

I thought you'd like it Jenkins with the idea you and Amber had. But she did mention on Tue that it had changed...

Cool....yeah we are thinking small SUV now for her, but she can get whatever she wants as lng as it has 4 drs.

I think these 2ways should all be compatible, do you know what brand you will be borrowing?

Isn't Austin known for great music? Perhaps there's a good local band playing while we'll be there?

It's still to early to get the listing of shows for that weekend from the Chronicle. They only go as far as April 17th. As soon as that weekend is listed, I will post the link to all the shows for that weekend and see if there is any interest.

Yea, I was kinda thinking just some no-name local bands playing at a club or bar or something like that. Those turn out to be some of the better concerts and they're usually fairly cheap, $5-10 at the door.

Hey guys & gals - I made up some flyers for the road trip today and took them by my local dealership. They're gonna mail them out to the area RX8 owners (because it's a plug for Mazda!). :D Hopefully, that'll help generate more interest from the north Louisiana group.

:D Is it April yet?! :D
