Well, some of us are getting our cars tinted the week before. So there goes about $200. If we plan something for the weekend anytime after March 11th, I'm game.

no no no.... we have already hijacked enough threads. Dazy, that makes two people for April. Let's see how many people are good to go in April and on what day(s). Then we can pick a place.

 

Sounds like two options are popping up here.

A DFW road-trip in April and a statewide meet type thing in June/July.

I will work on getting the summer meet details worked out if you guys like?

Maybe somewhere in Central Texas with some great roads within 50 miles of the meeting site and some alternate entertainment at said location?

 

I think we are choosing between going to Shreveport for gambling and free alcohol or going to 6th street for some alcohol. Come to one of the Tuesday meetings at Rack Daddy's, you'll see what I'm talking about. We are a group that really likes our alcohol.

 

I'd rather go to Austin than Shreveport. I've never been there and I'm going to Vegas in a couple weeks so I'll get the gambling fix taken care of. We can also take a day trip to San Antonio if it's not too far.

Somewhere on the strip, maybe the Venetian? That's where the wedding is, but I know we're on the strip. My sister turned 21 last month--you know what that means!! Big sis gets to take lil sis out all night in Vegas!!!!!!!

Okay, so it looks like Austin, sometime in April? Then I'll plan an earlier trip to Shreveport. I've got the gambling bug really bad. Heck, we can even do to different road trips. One for Shreveport in March, because I don't think I can wait much more than that and one for Austin in April. Anyone up for Shreveport, let me know. I'm still up for Austin in April though, never been to 6th street.

let's get the date down, and no, we don't need another thread. Everyone knows where this one is and we'll be fine organizing it here. So let's pick a weekend in April. The weekends of teh 8th-9th and 22nd-23rd are both good for me. The other weekends, I'll have my son and I won't be able to make those.

 

8th isn't great, but i may be able to. 22nd is good.

And i mentioned another thread so those not in the dfw area knew where we were going. but whatever.

Austin sounds great to me Another later date run that is pretty nice is Turner Falls in Oklahoma. They have cabins and campsites.
