If I don't want to deal with her in the morning, then I'll just lock the hotel room door and wait for her to go away. But of course I wouldn't really do that, because I would be afraid that she might do something to my car!

What day of the week is that? I think we should leave Friday night--whenever that is. Stay Fri and Sat nights, come home Sun. Are there places to stay somewhat close to 6th street? Kinda like the hotels in New Orleans, close enough to maybe walk there so we're not drinking and driving and don't have to worry about cabs.

 

I haven't been to 6th street so i don't know where to stay. I'll call down to Austin and talk to a couple of techs down there and ask them. I agree with dazygirl (gasp!) about the walking while intoxicated. Last thing we need is for someone to get hurt or hurt someone else.

I would be interested in meeting up with you guys sometime. I'm in Monroe, LA (1 1/2 hours east of Shreveport). We have NO 8 clubs here.... really sucks!

I'm not sure how long it would take for me to get to Austin though.

Well if you take off 1/2 friday you could meet us in DFW and cruise to Austin.

 

DFW is a 5 hr drive from here.... what time are you guys planning on leaving to drive down?

 

Hey don't they have a Hooters in Monroe? If so, dude! you have got to get me a shirt or coffee mug. Instead of driving 4 1/2 hours or more to dfw and then another what 3 hours to austin, you can meet us in Austin. When we get closer to the date of going, We'll post what hotel and everything and an approximate time we'll be there. If you want, you can send me a pm and I'll give you my number so hooking up with us will be easier.
sorry about no 8 clubs out there. I'm also planning a trip to Shreveport for the first monday in march. A couple of guys I work with and I have really got the gambling bug BAD!
