Replacing Wheel Stud-Painful!
Just FYI for those that don't do their own tire rotations, etc. Be careful with your studs!
Instead of just popping in from the back of the hub, replacing the studs on the 04 RX8 (at least on the rears) requires special tools and requires that the hub pieces are separated.
3 hours of labor at the dealership, so do the math on that one.
Wheel Stud - 6$
Look on the Discount Tire Guys face when Brakes plus didn't have the equip/time to replace my stud - priceless.
Thank God they still agreed to pay for it, since they broke it!
P.S. Super-impressed with the DT at Plano Pkwy/75 in Plano. I was expecting a battle, but they just took care of the approximately 300 buck repair with no issues other than a couple of phone calls to verify.
