I'm even thinking about just being nice for a little while and even changing my avatar to that of a really nice angel looking thing. I promise..... I'll even be more thoughtful of others that are around me. I mean, today is such a beautiful day and I'm just soooo happy to be here. I have this sudden urge to go out and do a random act of kindness and hopefully my good deed will cause that person to in turn do a good deed to another.

It's me and there's nothing wrong with me. I just woke up this morning and when I walked outside and saw the raindrops that have gathered on my newly washed RX8. It was beautiful and the traffic on the way to work this morning was smooth. I'm also getting my windows tinted this weekend and that will make my Pretty Yellow Baby look that much prettier!!

 

It sounds like you're "floating on air"...... that's a scary thought, ya know

 

Why shouldn't I be? I get to drive in a car that I'm happy to be in for my daily 100 mile round trip commute to work and back. The weekend is almost here. Next week, I work monday and them I'm off Tuesday so my week will be very short. What's not to be happy about? Besides, I also have a job that has internet access that allows me to communicate with my fellow 8 owners.

 

Sorry I didn't catch this earlier, "floating on air". I got it now. Just remind yourself of what you have now and that you were the best thing that ever happened.

oh no, the lawn is very manicured and they have these flowers arranged at each end of the oval, so its a very relaxing walk. Very nice. I'll show you when you come up here on Monday to take off to Shreveport.

RANDOM: There is currently a channel 5 news helicopter flying around my apartment complex because across the street, two guys were working in/on a power box when something happened (a neighbor says he heard an explosion). One guy came out up in flames and the other guy is stuck inside, dead. Cops, ambulances, fire trucks, TXU vans, all kinds of people have come out here. If you see it on the news--you heard it from me first.

 

I thought that's what we had already talked about. you can leave your vehicle here because we have 24 hour survellance. It was on the Shreveport thread. But if you would like, I'll see if I can take off early from work and then drive to FT Worth to pick you up. I just thought it would be easier leaving from Dallas and a little closer, but I'm open for you input. :D

 

OMG! that's terrible. Did you see any of it happen? I haven't seen or heard anything on any of the channels here at work. I feel really bad for both of their families.

 

No, I didn't see it happen. I came home after taking care of some things and saw all the vehicles. I asked one of our maintenence guys and that's what he told me.

 

I'm not trying to trivialize what happened today. I still haven't seen anything on the new about it, which may be best for the families involved. I would hate to recieve terrible news like that by watching it on TV first.
To try and change the subject to something a little brighter. Did anyone notice how nice it was outside. It was great! The sun came out and it was around 60 for my drive home. I just opened the sunroof and the traffic was very light. All in all, it was a pretty relaxing day.
