Did this red 8 happen to have a Mazdaspeed spoiler?

Saw a Black RX8 GT with bodykit in Lawton, didn't get to wave in time. Also saw a White Mazdaspeed RX8 driving to Lawton from Altus, waved, didn't get a reponse.

 

Well, I'm a new RX-8 owner in Oklahoma, just picked up today. I had been driving the dealers Phantom Blue RX-8 since monday!!

 

Phantom blue, nice. Where about in OK?

 

I got a Galaxy Gray, the one I was driving from the dealership was Phantom Blue, I'm southside, Moore pretty much. My car is a Galaxy Gray, Sport, w/ factory 18"

I was rollin next to some one w/ a brand new, sticker still in the window, gray 8 on 44 last Thurs. Mine is red.

 

Anyone from the Lawton Area want to start up a meet? modifying my 8 since Nov '04. 20" Motegi DP-10's, VDC doors on now for 2.5 yrs, gauges on center console, custom RF sound system, Raven Body Kit, Racing Beat exhaust.

 

Where have you been when we used to have regular meets? I hope one of the gauges is at least a functional oil pressure one.

You should come out to our BBQ next month.

In the past week I've seen a BB and winning blue RX8's on classen in norman. Saw a white 8 today near lloyd noble, but wasnt in my car.

 

Me and sandsun are trying to organize some kind of a meet just before the OKC Q in October to get people aware of these forums. We're planning on going to the Dealership and giving them flyers or talking to them about getting people pointed here. That way when the Q actually happens more people will know about it and more will show up to it. The more people, the merrier.

He said he knows people, so we plan on having something before October 27th.

Also, I'm thinking in Lawton if we get enough of a response that we could probably do something like BJ's but instead go to Garfields every week or something. Just throwing it out there.

that had to be me, because i relly think im the only pearl white 8 in norman, with a decal on the windshield. but im a guy not a blonde lol, i dont know maybe im wrong, i have 5% tint so its hard to see.

I will defintly be down to be at any rx8 meet up, and i go to OU as well, and i think all the 8's should meet at OU that would be bad ***!!, top floor stadium parking lot!

 

No, the windows were down and the driver was quite obviously of the female persuasion.

I did see a white 8 yesterday as well but didnt see any decal.

We should start seeing about flyer'ing the 8's around norman. I know there's a few on campus I see pretty regularly.

OKC: 122nd & Rockwell ~2pm. Spotted a VR with a "RX-8" sticker across the top windshield. Appeared to be lowered and possibly had an aftermarket exhaust.

 

I've been on RX8Club since 04' I think..

I'm located in Tulsa.. Winning Blue 04 - GT app. pckg - fully tricked out except body kit..

When I got my 04' eight, i was probably 1 of 10 winning blues in Tulsa.. Now, I see 8's everywhere.... All good though.. I'd like to meet up for a 8' BBQ or whatever.....

I think norman should be called rx8 central...but anyways my rx8 is so darn dirty now i think we should have a car washing party....i got my wax..leather cleaner...and plastic cleaner with me....but i dont know any place where i can wash the car then spend 1 hour or so wax...like most car wash want you to get the hell out of there after you finished washing.

 

You can camp out at a car wash and they generally won't give you trouble if it isnt packed.

I found a random hidden little niche in norman behind a church with a hose and fully in the shade- so I wash / wax there now and take my sweet time.

i know alot of people dont like the Vertical Doors, but, my car is only for show at this point, i intend to work more towards the engine performance, once all of the exterior and interior portions are complette.

i have all spare door panels for fiberglassing and paint, as well as re-doing the trunk currently.

Installing T-series pro Fosgate subs from my sponsor, along with another amp for center channel.

I also want to invert the hood with an automatic actuator, cannot decide to fabricate one myself, or spend the cash for a universal.

 

Yes w0rm, I installed a functional Oil pressure gauge in my 3 cluster in the middle of the dash, along with oil temp and water temp.

did the install myself, took about 3 hours, i am considering molding in the dash kit from Lotek for a smoother look. But working on the center channel speaker system for staging and waiting to see how that turns out.
