Just wanted to say that IFO was a blast. Glad I got to meet you guys. One quick question, does anyone remember who Tom said made his intake? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Hope to see you guys again for another event.

 

It is a Mishimoto, I think. I could of swore he said it wasn't out to the public yet and that he got it direct from them.

 

Simota Charger CF Intake the second version, he got his off of ebay. He said rx8strakes has it in stock but they don't have it listed on their website yet.

 

I cleaned may baby for 1.5 hrs today and still don't think I got all of the mud out of my rear fenders. It was caked in my side skirt. Guess I'll know better and show up early and put it in the show just for better parking.

 

wow man hour and half dang. I detailed the 8 and took a ton of pics of it today ill post some up later if they r worthy...

Hey, Tom here, just got back from a business trip in Germany. It was great meeting you all at the IFO! i am looking forward to the Tulsa and DFW show.

I ended up getting two trophies, Best Display, and Mazda 2nd place to the blue 3rd gen rx-7.

i am definitely going to have to make some major mods to the motor before i can compete with him. his motor looks great, dont know how it runs, but looks good.

After watching those guys from KC race their RX-2 and RX-3's i may be getting the bug to work with my mechanic friend Hector in Lawton to build a race rx.

let me know when you all are able to get together.

nope, I didnt even think to bring a camera. Sure was nice to see the rotarys blowing everyones doors off.

I am going to try and make it. Even though there are mainly muscle cars and trucks at this one, there has been a growing number of imports that have been entering the past 3 years.

Hey guys would love to go, but I just spent 700 on parts for the car and since I'm leaving for my cruise on the 23, just can't afford it. ifo was great and as soon as I can, would love to meet up again. You Okc guys are a blast. Wish the Tulsa crew would get together like that.

Tom, you definitely need to put your car in the ifo show here on Sept 9th. I am getting my bumber repainted just to enter for the hell of it. Definitely not as clean as yours, but I say let's stack the 8's deep.

Im going to the crawds n rods show. Weather permitting. i recently seen a weather report forecasting rain.

Emery, yes, i plan on entering the show. i havent been to this one before, but know a lot of tuners that have. This show normally is scheduled on top of a show in Duncan, at the Christian center. it is on May 16th. I have attended the Duncan show 4 years straight now.

Jim, i plan on showing up at IFO Tulsa in Sept. would like to get a convoy together with the OkC 8's or maybe drive up and stay the night before. I will log on to the website later to check on hotels nearby the show center.

 

Okay health and weather permitting i plan on going to the show. Almost came down with Bronchitis but caught it early enough and now on antibiotics so hopefully i'll feel better by then...we'll see.
