Carshow for a cause
I saw this, figured I would just pass it on....
"The location has been changed from Eldon lyons park in Bethany to the Mustang community center on Mustang road in Mustang OK (wow alot of mustang lol) Time is still at noon. Also Swadleys BBQ backed out
we are in the works for other means of food but no worries. also H.I.N has been confirmed to show a bunch of cars for us. the cost is still 10$ AND CODY WILL BE THERE!!!!! COME BY AND SAY HI. This means alot to Cody myself and the member of his family and Twisted Illusions, show your heart and help a brotha out :D

Fund Raiser/Car show-meet 26 APR
Twisted Illusions if having a fund raiser for Cody Sheets to help pay for his surgery and other expenses, here is the story behind it all.
One of our members is in need of help! Cody Sheets is 22 years old and has struggled with Cystic Fibrosis all of his life as is currently at the OU Medical Hospital. Cystic Fibrosis is a terminal lung disease that attacks the respiratory and digestive systems of about 70,000 children and young adults worldwide. Cody was diagnosed with CF at the early age of 2. The predicted median age of survival is around 37 years of age. He takes over 30 pills and 6-8 breathing treatments a day. Unfortunately recent test proved that he requires a lung transplant.
The minimum cost of this operation is $550,000!
Thankfully with the advances in medical technology the CF Organization informed us that a cure may be available within the next 2-4 years! They are currently in the process of getting it approved through the FDA.
It would cut
his medication intake to a mere 2 pills a day!
Cody has not had much a social life due to the numerous medication doses and breathing treatments. He just recently shared with us his disease. He has tried to keep it secret due to fear of rejection, harassment and discrimination. Since he has become a member of Twisted Illusions he has found a sense of normality in his life and a group of true friends.
We have gained his trust in this matter and now he needs our help and the help of
kind hearted individuals.
Cody will have to quit his job to focus on his health. The amount of medication and breathing treatments at this time leave no time for a professional or personal life. Due to the inability to work the payments on his pride and joy "Black Beauty", a 2005 Dodge SRT-4 are in jeopardy. It may just be a car to some people, but this car has bonded him to the members of Twisted Illusions and has given him a reason to get out, make friends, and become the amazing person he is. Losing this prized possession would devastate him. We ask for your help and your heart, anything would help. Thank you - Twisted Illusions.
The event will have music provided by volunteer DJ's, and will have news coverage by channel 9. We are in the works with the head of HIN to have some cars shown at the meet. Donations with be $10 for food and a raffle tickets, you may also show your car at the meet with the rest.
Come have some food, a few water fights, look at some hot girls, and of course hot cars. Have fun and most of all help out a fellow car enthusiast in need of all the help we can get.
