I weighed my RX-8...fully loaded options and it is 3015 lbs.

 

thats pretty good....doesnt the stock 8 weigh 3030 where did you weigh it at?

 

3015 is with half tank of gas, closer to 3030 with full tank...maybe ? I went to Thunder Valley Raceway. I didn't run the car. You have to weigh your car now...

Totally blows-- Anyone else thinking about goin? I saw our RX-7 buddy is planning on Meeting at the Events Center downtown then making a grand entrance (see other thread). Perhaps some of y'all might want to do the same? Regardless, I'll be there--

 

i work from 10am- 11pm but i will take 4hrs leave, so that i can go to the show.

 

How was the car show? Any pics? OKC did you get your Borla exhuast on? My RB exhaust will be here monday and installed Monday.

My camera battery died shortly after arriving . There were def. plenty of things (hotties) to take pics of, but I didn't get any. I went with some other fellas from the Nissan board, maybe they got some I can share (I'll keep y'all updated). Did you get anything good Adrian?

I did finally get the Borla on after a long wait from Vivid Racing. It sounds good, nice and mellow. Let me know how the RB exhaust works out for ya Jump.

 

I got my exhaust on. I did it all by myself in about 2 hours.

 

Excellent man! I was too excited and impatient when I got mine. I had it put on (go on , flame me, I can handle it!) the same day I received it. How's the sound, are you satisfied?

We need to all get together and do another exhaust comparo now that there are a few more of us to demonstrate. This crappy weather tho, don't know if anybody would be up for a meet anytime soon--

 

I like the sound. Im very happy with the RB. Yeah the weather is getting crappy, but I dont mind meeting up as long as its not raining and I dont have to work. Im going to start tuning my CZ unit. I got all the stuff for it

 

i would like to join the meeting and take a look for those exhausts. i plan to get 1 but have no idea how the sounds like. RB or Borla or ...... but the greddy exhaust will be my 1st choice. any comments for it?

You and me both.. The weather has been really crappy!

 

supposedly it might let up tomorrow/sat. We will see. There's apparently two 8's down in norman(a black and a blue) that have been seen all over campus together so I'm going to attempt to make contact.

I have been busy lately and I would like to meet up and cruise Saturday and probably go to the track Sunday! I had my rear end customized!!! Let me know something anybody!

 

I was going to post in here today to see what everones was up to. I have to work til 10pm sat night, but Id be down for some cruising. I have had a whole lot of time to test and tune. I have been working 6 days a week. I borrowed someone elses map and installed it. I like the way it runs. I need to some more tuning to it when I get some time. The stock map was weak in the low rpm range, but the map I installed helps with the low RPMs alot.

anyway......i found a website about sponsorship but i dont know how it works? thinking should i go for the sponsorship or get tuned from my pocket $$$$.....
