Well, was tired of waiting so I got my second clip with the new exhaust. The parking lot I used was a little shorter than the first one I used so I had to brake immediately after redline but you can still get the general idea.

Is it really that loud? lol. I dont think I even hit redline at that time since I had the old exhaust resting in my rear seats.

Juan make sure you have all the gaskets,. etc. when you get it.

Hey corn, I need to splice a larger 18 gauge wire into the much smaller ground on the cigarette lighter. I tried to use a quick splice but it does not splice into the smaller wire to make a connection. Currently I have it grounded to a bolt but I am getting intermittent error codes on my gauge and they say its due to a bad ground.

you might have to cut the wires and go with a butt splice or even a bean splice, i have never seen anything that will allow for splicing of different gauges

I don't want to have to cut or solder because there is no damn room to work as it is. But I guess I will have too. Can I come Saturday? I wanna install my grounding kit and fix this gauge. My tire guy was out and still has the minivan. I want my freakin' rims already.

just split the ground wire from the lighter and use a butt connector to attach the wire for gauge wire as in this pic below

if there is no room get a T Tap and Male Blade connector

So two wires in the end of one butt connector? The wire from the oil temp gauge is 18 gauge.
