CV Joints? We can knock that out, I have done more of those than I can count. Easy enough to check for broken boots.

ok... so when installing a single oil cooler, and you are nearly done..... and then some guy, who shall remain nameless for now, comes over and suggests that we "cut" the bottom lip to help with air flow restriction.... slap him and tell him to go away!!!!!

/end rant

Cut the bottom lip? As in the rotor shape or what?

Hey from the "pictures" I saw it looks as if that nearly one inch lip "could" have restricted flow to the rad!

ohhhh, that makes more sense. Actually seems like a decent idea lol. Guessing it took a while to get off? Someone in the thread he made for this mod mentioned that the rotary shape actually restricts quite a bit of airflow, so I'd imagine that lip could do quite a bit as well.

from where the oil cooler is located the rotary shape doesnt pose a problem.... whether is poses a problem for the condenser/radiator has yet to be seen... but with as much space is already there, i would think any air that is diverted would still hit the spot considered the way that compartment is enclosed, maybe just a little more turbulent though

Yeah I would like to create some type of air flow divert-er but we will see. I kinda just want to get this done already. I still have shocks, rear rotors, and some other small things to install. Not to mention get my hood repainted and my rims put on.

I won't be able to make the cruise after the coffee and cars meet but I will be at the meet. I have to take a road trip to my parents.

How many people would be interested in the engine bay light mod? Who has an idea of how we'd make them/would be able to build them?

do what? the engine bay lights? I PM'd grunge about it and we can talk about it at a meet, but a friend told me about a deal that would probably make things cheaper if we waited till after the holidays. Can get some of the stuff at basically no cost.
