Cool man, I have a Winning Blue 05 Touring that I am about to add the Aero package to. In BR on weekends, drive work truck during the week.

You don't happen to work around the Conn's on Siegen Lane? I see one al the time when eating at Cheeburger-Chee burger.

 

Nah not me. I didn't know there was a Conn's on siegen Lane. Its not by Target is it?

 

Still alive...just not posting all that much. Aside from still being pissed off at people who can't parallel park without cracking my front bumper cover, really needing to wash the car, and working my butt of, nothing else going on. I REALLY need to wash the car. heeh

 

i changed out my spark plugs the other day.. i did all 4 of them through the wheel well and it took approximately 10 minutes to do..

i can't believe how much a set of spark plugs can do.. i didn't even get new wires or coils, either. when i get on the gas it gets violent or something

 

skwidd don't be so depressed about the bumper. Next time do what I do. why don't you mount a camera in your car so if the next jackass who can't park hit you you got them on camera.

 

Meh...sounds like a plan. I'm still waiting for Keith to get prices for me on the bumper and the broken latch on the center console.

 

So cajun what you be doing in BR on weekends?

 

Going to church, shopping with the wife and kid. Not a big party monkey, too old for that stuff. I would like to get the BR 8's together and hook up with the N.O. crowd.

Soon as I get back from Dallas saturday or sunday, just to get the word out to any entusiastic RX 8 owners.

 

let's see.. personal standards for a "meet"..

• no jackasses allowed
• more than 1 rx-8 is needed
• willing to drive 50 miles
• nothing ridiculously stupid or immature
• doesn't matter if females go or not
• interested in driving, parking, talking, or eating
• interested in seeing a shitload of rx-8's together for no reason
• interested in seeing modifications and learning about the beast
• interested in meeting the people that appreciate the rx8 like i do

so in other words.. jesus, i'm down for whatever

 

Im now backed down to workin just on mondays to thursdays. Now have 3 day weekends!! Yeah! I might make a trip to BR soon. How far of a drive was it from where we met that time nightmare? I have a Whip for yall to try and beat lol. 09 Cobalt ss turbocharged on 14 lbs of boost. He hung with me but in the end his bumper was with my front tires. Could have had him alot more if i had the right size tires on mine. I have to drive 59 in order to be driving 55. I bet i would get better milage if i get them changed out.

 

bout an 1 hr an 36 min, 83 mi drive but it took me bout 45 min. I was driving pretty quick cuz I had my radar detector an it caught every last one of those cop a holes everytime. Sweet

 

So you wanna meet up again DSM? Greg since your willing to come to BR anytime you can come to. Me an the service manager at Hollingsworth Mazda are pretty cool. He drives a baby blue Mustang Gt. He an a bunch of other guys with sports cars meet up every thurs and sat night at Pepboys around 9. Chill an hangout. And on some sat nights at the track in New Roads. I think its $10 or $20 an you can run your car all night
