Moving to Louisiana, need info

I dont think maybe my last thread was clear enough.

I am moving soon to Fort Polk. But I need to know how the scene is as far as tuners goes in Louisiana. Ive never been before and only drove through the state once.

So Please any information you have would be awesome! Like:

Local meet spots
Dos and donts?
Cop patrols?
Strictness of aftermarket parts laws?
emissions?
Best mazda dealership for service?
Best rotory mechanics in the state, if any?

I grew up in Louisiana, and while I can't answer your question directly my advice to you is to get out as soon as you can.

There aren't many people in LA on these boards. Most are going to be around the New Orleans Baton Rouge area. A few in Lafayette were I'm from but none of them seem to be as active as some of the groups in Texas are. The place your going is relatively unknown to me other than the fact that my grandfather goes around there to look for wildflowers and birds etc. I doubt there is anything besides the base there and your best bet for a dealership is going to be Alexandria or Lafayette. Neither good options. You can probably pretty much forget about tuners as well. LA is a **** hole, always has been and always will be.
