Just FYI.......we get discounts on parts through Freeman Mazda in Irving.....the parts manager and asst. parts manager are all about giving us "hook-ups" If you need to order parts I would suggest ordering from them....they have proved to me more then once that they want our business.

...the saga continues.

After running the codes - it appears the catalytic converter is fine. Now they're saying it's the fuel pump (seems like I suggested this some time ago...).
In any event now gertting a new fuel pump (overnighted for $55 - or would have had to wait till Monday...)

unbelievable.

Yes that is all you have to do..

When you call in to get pricing though it is best to either talk to Matt Hassel (asst. parts mngr) or Ed Collie (parts mngr)

Finally...this thead can now come to a close.

New fuel pump (plus plugs, coils, battery, starter, and a new engine...) did the trick. It's been starting and running fine for a couple of days now.

Old fuel pump had psi reading of 2.10 (should have been 4.7) - new pump reads 4.7 just like it's supposed to and engine starts have been fine whether cold or hot and no rpm fluctuations as before.

...now Joe, about those puddle lights...

Well, I'm glad your car is now finally running right, but to go through all that just because your fuel pump needed to be replaced? I have serious doubts about TNM.
