Local (DFW) RX-8 needed for new product testing. ;)

Greetings!

This is Donny with Revolution Performance Mfg. We're looking for a local (DFW) RX-8 to test a new product that we will soon be releasing. I must be vague on the details for now, but I will say that it is auxilliary audio related, so the test would involve removing your center console. If you are interested and will have some time available this week, please send me a PM and I'll shoot you back my phone number.

Thanks,

Donny

I'd do it but I'm not FW based in any way.
Removing the center console is no big deal for those who are interested. It's just a little time consuming the first time you do it.

Good luck.

Well, I realize that "DFW" was probably a bit vague. I am located just south of the DFW airport, but am willing to meet someone in Grapevine, Irving, Grand Prairie, Arlington, the Mid-Cities, etc. if necessary. This is something that can be done quite easily in a parking lot.

If nothing else, perhaps I'll make my way out to Addison on Thursday.

Sounds good. I can bring tools if you want to do a disassembly right in the parking lot. Lol.

Sent you a response dazy!

Cool, well, if I can't work something out before then, I'll definitely try to make it out there.

In case anyone was wondering, this is what this thread was referring to:

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?p=1144759

I'd also like to test it on an RX-8 with navi, if possible. If anyone is interested, please PM me.

Well, we're pretty much done with testing unless someone around here has a firmware revision of less than 9.55. The consensus seems to be that it won't work on those.

I'm expecting them in towards the end of the year. When they arrive, locals can certainly pick them up from me. I must charge sales tax locally, but if I don't have to ship it, I'll cover the tax for you.
