The RX7 rotorheads out here speak very highly of you. I remember ReMech (Gabe) was trying to fly you out for his FC project... but i guess it didnt work out. So, interested in the renesis now?

Yep I'd like to get a blue Rx8 but I doubt it'll happen for awhile. In any event, I'd like to start doing some stuff on the MSPRE motor as I've yet to crack one apart and do any real porting work. I'd like to see what I can get out of it.

Yeah about the HI trip -- it was going to happen back in Sept but it never materialized. I think Gabe got real busy just couldn't do it. It kind of fizzled out. Perhaps this coming year we can get something together.

you know how gabe is. he loves buidling FCs and then as soon as its done... poof its gone. LOL. He had a really interesting TII/GTU conversion going, but sold it near completion. He has an 8 now, and picked up an FC vert the other day... the party never stops with that guy. I think i scared him out of going turbo when he came to help me drop mine out of my blue 8. Best part is... i know hes reading this at the moment - super lurker.

Yes indeed... if you can make it out to the island, the interest is large eventhough our numbers are small. I can definetely use some words of advice with my new setup and more specifically the haltech "interceptor" ems. BLAH - its a long story.

Nonetheless.. glad to have you on board. Oh and BJs is in Addison... off of Betline road... a few blocks west of the tollway.

 

B.J.'s is off or belt line and the tollway. Im sure he will post directions he always does, my car will hopefully be in the shop by then getting repaired but ill still come out anyway ! If not we can always set something up this weekend providing the weather being nice. . .

 

Yep that's Gabe! I've got his old red (now white) FC here that I'm getting ready to finish up a job on.

I'll try and make it out this Thur evening. My car's a bit dirty so don't make fun of it or the big dent on the driver's side rear quarter (or the rust that magically appeared on my water pump!) :D

Doesn't look like there's one this week, guess cuz of the holidays...two weeks from today it should pick back up. Take Brian up on the drive this weekend, he may be in my 8 if he just calls me! (hint, hint)

Sorry, I got a bit busy this week with Lindsay's family in town. It's probably a little short notice for tonight, but if some folks are interested in a drive this weekend, I think that's probably something we could swing. I know I'm open on Sunday (plus it gives me a chance to put my sways on Saturday), but whatever y'all want to do.

I didn't figure anything was going on today because of the cold weather. Not sure if you guys do parking lot visiting or are primarily inside where it's warm having a drink. In one way I'm kind of glad -- it'll give me time to figure out a way to get this mysterious blast of bright orange rust that showed up on my water pump recently.

idk if you remember me, I drove up with my friend Chris and my father that was buying his corvette. We ate IHOP the night before we opened up Chris' half-bridge.
