yeah, i was kinda hesitant to give my 2 cents on how this shifter feels, since so many people have talked about it, Overall, i really like it, i have some problems finding 6th gear for some reason, but that could be due to the fact that i have driven only maybe 50 miles with it. It would seem to me that some may find this upgrade completely awesome, while some who are less perceptive may hardly notice. As for me, i find the action and the placement of the shifter to be a vast improvement, while not noticing the shortened throw as much as others. Overall, it is very cool, and i really think it is one of the more awesome things ever that people are out there making a product like this.

I ordered mine on a Sat night and Richard had it to me the next Tuesday. Easy install cept for one clip that I decided I no longer need
When shifting gears all you really have to do now is flick your wrist. I took right to it and had no problem finding the gears - 6th does take some getting used to but it was like that w/the stock shifter. You can get the car in gear so much easier now, especially when you're really getting on it...the rpm's dont drop near the way they did w/the stock shifter.
The sound from the tranny is more pronounced now. I suppose if one wanted to dampen the sound some insulation could be packed around the shifter - there is some room under the cover. I kinda like the tranny sound, turn the stereo on and you cant hear it at all. Click click vooooom, click click vooooom...lol
This shifter is worth every penny you pay, a mod that actually does something!

I have had the 1st to 2nd problem at high RPM and Richards shifter didnt do much for that. Thats not the shifters fault, or Richards though. I love it, its a small mod that makes a huge difference IMO. No regrets at all. Much more solid feel to it, plus an inch of the throws is nice.
