Houston Turbo Install

Hi guys, I recenty bought an 04 rx8 and was considering installing a Greddy Turbo kit. Does anyone know if Maz max would be able to do the install and tuning? They are close to me and I've heard good things about their work.

I recently just had some major work done at maz-max. I have the greddy turbo setup, and they were required to unbolt and re-bolt my turbo kit. I am sure they will do the job. Call and ask for Brian.

Thanks I'll give them a call. How do you like the Greddy kit? Did you have to make any modifications?

Wow... you should give the Major Horsepower thread a look. A lot of people on this site either love or hate Greddy. But as we speak MazdaManiac is making, actually he is done, an upgrade to the Greddy kit. Plus there is a whole thread dedicated to fixes that the kit needs.

I've been looking through alot of threads and have read up on the 3 major fixes the kit needs. Are you running emanage blue, ultimate, or Int x? Thanks

Thanks for in info. I think I'll be going with the Interceptor X as well, but I'm gona focus on the handling first, coilovers, sway bars, and strut bars.

I posted this in another tread, but if any of you could help? Where is maz-max? And by chance do you have a phone number for them?

"Can anyone recommend a good tuner shop/mechanic shop near the Galveston Area?

I purchased a used 2004 with a greddy turbo bolt on, and other day the car died on me while driving. When I pulled over and tried restarting the car, it sounding like it wasn't firing. I changed the spark plugs, but the car still won't turn over. I'm going to have to suck it up and pay someone to fix it, but I have no idea where to take it.

I would prefer somewhere near Galveston as I'm going to have to tow the car(most likly going to have to pay a towing service). I want a good, reputable place, so if I have to go way into Houston, then I will. Phone numbers and addresses would be a great help if you happen to have them, but I can always look those up. I just need the name of places.

Thank You"
