That is exactly what my a/c is doing, cycling on and off.
Thanks for the info.

Mine is just fine. Mind you if the car is in the sun all day it takes two or three minutes to cool down. But once my car is warmed up the AC has no problems keping up. I have no tint, and black cloth seats.

I have 5% tint and still does not help. It is not that the a/c is not blowing cold air, the a/c will cycle on and off about every ten seconds, blowing cold air, then warm air, then cold air, then warm air. But anyways I found the TBS and printed it out, and I am due for another free oil change so I will get it serviced when I take it in. And as far as parking in the sun, My car is in the garage when I am home and when I am at work it is under covered parking.

Sucks unless I'm at cruising speed on full cold/recirc. Then it's nice and frosty. Catch 22.

I do need tint though. Any HO installers in houston you guys could recommend?

I had some part replaced in my A/C right after I bought mine and it seems to do an OK job cooling as long as I am on the recycle setting. Has anyone had the **** on there A/C controls break? Mine did and I am waiting for a new one (Backordered)

For Tint in Houston I would Recommend Master Auto Tint see Carlos He has done almost every car of mine and he has even done some windows in my house. Make sure and get the insulating tint so it will help reflect the heat.

Anyone wanna volunteer to pioneer the way to mod some A/C seats? Seat warmers are neat and all, but I'd much rather cool that area.

Install a zipper into the seat back, put a waterproof rubber bag in the void, add ice cubes to the bag for cooling. :D.

I was going to add a window unit to my car--I'll install it in the sunroof cut-out.

No tint, at least not for another hour, but as long as I keep it on recirculate and don't touch the temp setting, it will cool down fast and stay that way.

FYI I got tint from GMS and it looks good. He seemed like a nice guy and has resonable prices--I would recomend to others in the Houston area.

I plan on havinging him do my other car.

GMS did mine as well. Excellent job and now it is even bearable when I first get in after it has been out in the sun. It cools down much quicker as well. Of course if it at home, it is in my ventilated and AC'd garage, now.

If you have him do your other car ask him about putting tint flames on. It is only about $100 extra.

My other car is a Land Cruiser. I don’t think the flames would look too hot.

Maybe, maybe not. It would make it look pretty cool. Ghost flames in the window tinting...
