I'll be moving to El Paso in a couple weeks. Anyone know of a good, manual rx8 for sale(around $10k)? Prefer white. Found a couple on craiglist and autotrader but the autotrader ones seem way overpriced. Think it's worth going LA or something to find a better deal?

Also, what are some good tracks around here? I read about one in Las Cruces that seems pretty good for weekend track days, but something a little closer would be nice.

 

I'm in el paso now where are the car meets here.... I see a lot of nice cars driving around town... But only saw like two Rx8s

I am stationed on Holloman AFB, I visit El Paso often. When are you guys going to have a meet there:?

 

Of all the 8's in el paso, only about five people actually check the forum. Our 8 community here is dead. It's incredibly hard to coordinate an 8 meet here. Several of the people I've run into in el paso aren't even familiar with the forum, let alone interested in meets, it's just the car they drive. If we can get some participation on here, we may be able to set up an 8/Rotary meet.

 

I am either in El Paso or Las Cruces Friday or saturday. I am usually with some guy with an S14. We usually just drive around.

 

If you see me at night, I have purple HID's Right now with green parking lights. I am going to get green HID's. I have WCL on the side of my car. so if you see me just stop me or pull up.

 

Saw a blue RX8 with blue hid headlights and fog lights. I flashed my green parking lights. Who is that?

 

I agree with dsea. I look often and wave to those I see. Rarely get anything back. No one here is really on the forum. I Gatta black 8. Blacked out emblems. If ya see me flag me down.

 

Here's my attempt at a little thread resurrection; ran into a CR Shinka last night and talked a little rotary. He mentioned seeing other 8's around town and wanting to try and get some meets together, same here. If anyone is interested in an 8 meet, post on here so we can coordinate names, numbers, times, and locations. Let's get our 8's together.

I can only show up in el paso on the weekends. so I am really up for anything for the weekends.

 

Weekends are cool with me. I like the idea of an early Saturday meet at a car wash (location TBA), we all get cleaned up, meet and greet, talk a little car talk, and cruise. That's just me, any and all suggestions welcomed.
